Those are some pretty nice weighted chins ya got. Do you use one of those belts with the chain to hold the plates on? I'm gonna have to use one for my pull ups, and I think when I start adding weight (5-10 lbs only) it's gonna be embarrassing lol. I wouldn't mind being able to add 25 lbs...

Jan. 13 - Cardio

Walked in the morning and at lunch and used my new pedometer. All told, I covered 3.5 miles (!)

In the evening I ran a 2-miler at a moderate pace. Time was under 15:40.

I'm pretty run down today, so I think I'm going to take 3 days off and get back at it on my hypertrophy cycle Monday.

General update: Got a cold on Friday and 6 days later I'm still not better. In fact, I'm worse. So, it's time for a trip to the doctor. My guess is it's a mild strain of the flu, broncchitis (sp?) or a nasty sinus infection. Who knows. But I've been taking NyQuil and DayQuil for almost a week and it's getting me pretty loopy. Not being able to work out has been a pain in the @ss. My hope is that I can manage a light re-introductory workout over the weekend.

Hey man, hope you get better soon. There is a super nasty cold going around lately and I had it for 2 1/2 weeks, no joke. I got it on a Tues. and didn't feel anywhere near normal till 2 weeks later. I've personally never had one as bad as I did this year. Normally i have the major symptoms for 3-5 days TOPS but this one floored me day after day. I sucked on zinc lozenges like they were going out of style and I went through 2 packages of tylenol cold and one bottle of nose spray. It helped alot though so, get better and don't kill yourself to get back into the gym until you know you are on the backside of this one. I tried and it just didn't work.
