Getting fit for my GF :P


So I'm new here, I'm motivated to get in shape, and Threenorns told me this is the plase to start a journal of my workout.

First of all I should tell you that I never did any kind of bodybuilding and my training so far has been more focused on endurance for running then anything else.
The thing is, a few weeks ago me and my GF were having a "wonderful time" when she grabed my chest and told me she was enjoy my muscles. Anyway, one thing leads to another and I find out that she would really like for me to get more defined but she never said because she didn't want me to get sad or something.

So now I've registered to the Max-OT website and will be analyzing the program so that I can build a schedule. I will try to keep my running routine because I'm going to run the Lisbon's half-marathon on December, 4th so I have to keep in shape for it.

Today's workout was:

Treadmill at 2,5%
35min - 3.125 miles
With a 4.4lb weight in each hand

I'm weighing around 190lb right now. I'll try to remember to weight myself tomorrow morning. Oh! And to take some measures.

no need to analyze anything - follow it as is and you'll do great. btw, read week two from the start - the warmup routine is pure gold.

welcoem to the site! good choice gooing w/ Max-OT follow the warm up routine they list for the first 2 or 3 weeks then follow the program to a "T" worked great for me :

I'll be printing the whole deal this weekend just because I rather have it on paper for reference and scribling than having to fire up the PC each time I want to check something.

I wheighted myself today and the scale came up to 177.5lb. Now waht I really want to do is measure myself. I'll have to get rid of a lot around the waist.
I'll also try to get some photos to start a "progress pictures" thread. hehehe
