saturday, january 19, 2008

Went to 8am class at cf seattle:

30 second at each station then rotate, 4x through

Pull-ups
Push-ups
Push press
Kb sdhp

Post: nap then 5x3 snatches at 55lbs

Wanted to do nancy but for once decided to listen to my body (and coach dave) and skip nancy as my traps have not recovered from last weekends killer workouts at the cert.

fri night my gym boss took me out to dinner as a belated b-day present. went to one of the nicest resturants in seattle. had a huge piece of salmon, lobster mashed potatoes, corn and asapargus. then a huge dessert called volcano. chocolate ice cream, cake, vanilla stuff...oh so yummy.

sat night made dinner with my w a friend. crab cake on lettuce then meatballs and pasta for him and ravioli for me. polished off a bottle of presecco between the two of us. sunday was sushi and the last crab cake. good cheat weekend.

It's not too surprising she came in last. Bodybuilding doesn't tend to do much for conditioning, although it is a good way to get strong. Bodybuilders have the mind set of "do a set, then rest one or two minutes", and the constant movement of crossfit is hard to wrap their minds around.

gymgirl, excellent work on monday's WOD. i managed to get 7 rounds in. my "core" section is sore form the "L" pullups!!!!!!!!!! i could barely do situps yesterday
