Great job on the clean workout gymgirl and the PR. You obviously have some good technique with explosiveness. Keep up with the good form and keep the core tight.

That's a really good clean. I'm sure with your attitude a 105 lb clean isn't far off.

Hi, sn0boarder! thanks for the stopping by, and I hope you are right about hitting hte BW clean!

thanks minime, pierini and tim too! and you are right minime, i do have some raspberries after that! you know the day i posted about those on my color bone, i got in the shower and noticed i had popped blood vessels on my thighs from dropping the weight so hard after the clean. it was quite nasty looking. i also have been ending up with rather large bruises on my shins and just under my knee cap from deadlifting...(i had them on my legs at one of those weddings i went too...not so nice looking when wearing a dress. lol) my trainer used to tell me, keep the bar close to your shins...and i just slide them up or something!

oh minime guess what?! i finaly ordered my tanita scale...i completely forgot and it should be arriving tomorrow! yipeee! i might wait a few weeks to take my bodyfat! i weighed myself at the gym the other day and no change there but i'm guessing the bodyfat went up after 2 weeks off.

ok that david lynch movie was so weird, but good last night. my only complaint is why make a movie last more then 2 hours? this lasted 3 hours plus 30 min Q&A and we didn't get home until 11:30 which means i only got 6 hours of sleep. i don't know how i am going to train tonight.

anyway, here's my food from yesterday since i never got to log or post it:

food for jan 17, 2007

carbs: 226g 39%
protein: 168g 35%
fat: 57g 26%

total cals: 1990

thanks jdr! i sure hope so!

had my trainer today, first time since the new year...i almost forgot how much i love training with him!

warm-up:
100 double dirty dog walks

workout:

back squat warm-up: 45x10, 65x10
trainer had me working on going down as low as possible. oy! squats just didn't feel right today, probably been too long or something.

back squat: 75x5, 85x5, 95x5, 100x5, 105x5, 115x5, 120x1(f) on second rep

"Mary"
Complete as many rounds in 20 minutes as you can of:

5 Handstand Push-ups (against wall)
10 One legged squats, alternating (pistols with slight assistance with fingertips at bottom)
15 Pull-ups

7 rounds + 5 HSPU, 10 pistols, 7 pull-ups.

second Mary ever. PR by 1 round and some change, also first time doing pistols. pull-ups slowed me down after round 3. HSPU by far the easiest for me today.

my gym is just getting more and more absurd. trainer recieved a memo saying only 10 min per piece of equipment (dumbell or barbells included) also he's not allowed to 'superset' as they call it, or go between two different exercises. um what? this basically encourages trainers not ot think outside the box and to force clients through 3x12 reps, without even mixing in a few exercises here and there. so stupid, this is going ot make CF workouts even more interesting. apperently members complain about him and how his training takes up equipment. so stupid...

food:

carbs: 184g 36%
protein: 178g 42%
fat: 40g 22%

total cals: 1751

Nice workout GG.: You don't act sick at all! How the heck you did that after all those squats beats me.

You and your trainer need to find a new home for your money and your workouts. I've never heard of such nonsense.

great job on Mary gymgirl! i agree with brat: you are the strangest sick person ever! you freak!

and wow on the squats! 115lb for 5 and you were doing low ones too! I think you may officially be stronger than me, if I were doing ATG i wouldnt be able to handle 100!

your gym's rules are getting absurd!

JDR- thanks. Yeah Mary scared me (still does) and I put her off for a long time. She just kept pressuring me, so I finaly had to give her a go.

I guess I am a freak huh? lol. I think I am only able to workout because I am on the tale end of being sick, last week when i felt REALLY bad there was no way I was doing anything. doing 1 load of laundry exausted me enough to where i needed a nap!

oh minime, you are definitely stronger then me. those squats were not full ATG! they were as low as I could go, which was pretty low but not all the way. i don't like squatting below parallel!

lol andy! i couldn't do pistol on my left leg, but working with a bit of assistance with your fingers helps. have you tried them that way before? I can't believe i used to have to do them on a 4 inch wide balance beam back in the day.

minime i found this recipe today that i might try this weekend. i think i am going to mix in 2-3 scoops of whey into the buttermilk mixture and see what happens. i'm also going to substitue all whole wheat flour (the kind lady c posted about if i can find it) i wonder what oil is better, canola or vegetable...the recipe calls for canola, maybe i should sub apple sauce? i have no idea. here is the recipe though. Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins Recipe - Fruits - Cooking Light

Good workout gg. Don't you hate it when something doesn't feel "right". I was that way with rows for a while after getting hurt. Then with practice, things start feeling right again.

Keep up your hard work.
