I thought it was something to do with their smaller stature.

No, I'm pretty sure it actually is the "minding everyone else's business" thing...

LOL that's great pierini. cracked me up. EDIT: Tim i agree with you.
I just took my RHR again and it's at 68. I'll need to try my morning HR when/if I remember. I should probably do this on the weekend as during the week when i wake up i am full of anxiety and dread....i'm relaxed on the weekends though.
oh and minime, i hadn't noticed kelley moores post for the split jerk WOD. thanks for letting me know! whooooo FINALLY i beat her again! <evil laugh> gymgirl, 2 kelley moore, 100,000.

Oh, OK, I'll mind my own business now.
GG - Do morning HR on 3 consecutive days and take an average. If they are all quite different then you need to do it again.

i totally did not feel like working out today. i'm drained due to pre-totm, i swear this crap takes up 3 weeks of our month not just 5 days. there is like 1 week where my body feels all around good.
my entire body is extreamly sore from mon-tues workouts. especially my glutes and inner thighs. even my upper body feels heavy.
cardio:
3 mile run (planned on 2 but made a ' business decision' to continue.
800m at 6.5
400m at 7.8, 400m at 6.5
400m at 8.0, 400m at 6.5
400m at 8.1, 400m at 6.5
400m at 8.3, 400m at 6.5
400m at 8.5, 400m at 6.5
stretched and foam rolled: IT band, quads, hammys, and shoulder PT work
workout:
For time:
30 Handstand push-ups
10 Pull-ups
20 Handstand push-ups
20 Pull-ups
10 Handstand push-ups
30 Pull-ups
time: 7:24
last time: 8:15
i would have liked to have a little better ROM on the HSPU, but my upper body was just so heavy and sore. everything was so hard today. kelly moore whooped everyone's but with a time of 3:50.
oh i took my HR on one of the recovery periods during my run and got 140BMP, then after my 8.5 400m i stopped right away instead of running a bit during the recovery and got a HR of 160BPM which sounds right to me.
I'll try to remember to take my morning HR 3mornings in a row.

tonight is ANTM MAKEOVER EPISODE!!!!! i freckin LOVE the makeovers! there is always the girl who cries when they shave her hair off. I'd cry too but dang don't they watch the show before they go on? they know there is a 1/11 chance they will be the one to get their hair shaved or cut super short.

Nice work inspite of the girly issues. (Boy oh boy will getting older ever have it's benefits in that department!) You even beat your last time - great!
I don't usually mention it but I foam roll my legs, hips and butt twice a day now. What a difference it makes! Maybe I should do my whole body.

Like the workout. So far I have never tried handstand pushups, somehow I have difficulty flicking my legs over so they end up against the wall, kind of mental blockage for falling I guess. Maybe I should reverse position and let my feet "walk" up the wall.

wow gymgirl that is a great time on the WOD!
oh i love the makeovers too! I find it so silly too when they complain. Like Jaeda in the season i am watching now... i mean, will she ever just shut the hell up?! OK big deal they cut your hair, you look BETTER now and you came on this show of your own accord nobody forced you!! so annoying.
Another thing is this Anchal girl who is complaining about not being skinny enough, but then does NO exercise and eats ice creams. I mean, come on you are a model, stop eating and get to the frickin gym!
The other night brooke got kicked out, i was sad as she was really cute/sweet.
I accidentally found out who won when I checked out gofugyourself.com! darnit anyway, but i did think she would be a possibility as she was the prettiest in my opinion. Just glad it wasnt Melrose as each week the urge to choke her to death grows stronger... lol!

that's exactly what i would suggest doing seraphyne. start with your body facing the wall and walk your legs up until you feel comfortable. I'd also suggest putting a mat or stretching pad underneath you, just in case...
hey brat, i know it is hard being a girl! that thing you mentioned is one thing i am looking forward to about aging!
minime, ohhhh i totaly remember jadea with her hair cut. i kind don't blame her she did look kinda boy-ish, but it's always the girl that sayd 'i'll do whatever they want' that ends up crying. anchel annoyed the hell outta me. quit bitching about being fat then eating tons of fried eggs, ice cream and sitting on your ass all day. sheesh. i didn't think she was as pretty as everyone always made her out to be. she was different looking but those caterpillers living on top of her eyes drove me nuts. wax your brows girl! that is a bummer that you found out who won. i was so relieved melrose didn't win though! still i dont think anyone tops jade. lol man she was annoying but so fun to watch!

oh i remember when i tried handstands against the wall i was terrified! once you do it once though you realise its not so hard. Doing the pushup part though.. that is a different story...
yeah i know she is complaining that she has a different 'body type' to the other girls.. like hello! This is something that annoys me about people too, when they blame their 'body type' for being overweight. I know people are built differently and of course not everybody can wear a size two no matter how small they get, BUT there is no excuse for not working on doing the best with what youve got. Sorry, mini rant (i often have people say this to me.. that i am 'lucky' to be so thin... i know i am really lucky to have the good genes, but i also DO work hard at it)
Jade was the funniest, she was so annoying with her 'i am so great the other girls are so threatened by me' talk. And the 'thank you for believing in me' lol
i hear ya on the girly thing, it feels like ive only just started feeling nice and lean again, and its coming up to one week before TOTM again.. the bloat will begin once more! aaah

30 pullups....damn that's a lot. I don't think I've seen anyone knockout 30 pushups straight. Very impressive.....enjoy the show (whatever it is you ladies are talking about)

UGH i KNOW. I am going through that now. why do we have to bloat an entire week before? then we are bloated the week of. i mean really WHY?
hey eric thanks for the comments and for dropping bye!
ty, oh geez i wish i could do 30 pull-ups unbroken! those were definitely broken up. i think the most i can do is 15-18 unbroken...no way i can do 30 straight through! maybe someday...

spent about about 30 min working on PT stuff for my shoulder and foam rolling my legs.
oh i also practiced free standing HSPU's. I got so close to touching my forhead and making it back up....SO CLOSE!
trainer day!
workout:
tabata bosu squat to but to back extension:
8-8-8-8-8-8-7-8
speeding running practice:
9.0-9.3-9.6-9.8
tabata lateral touches:
16-14-14-14-12-13-14-14
WOD
deadlift warm-up: 95x3, 115x3
Deadlift 3-3-3-3-3-3-3 reps
135x3, 155x3, 175x1 (fail), 175x3, 185x3, 185x3, 185x3, 195x3
those were tough today. i pshyched myself out on the first attempt of 175. i didn't even know how much weight was on the bar, i thought i was at about 145 and couldn't figure out why it was so hard. i had no idea i was going for 195x3 either. i won't let my trainer tellme. i jumped a lot to get myself pumped. lol.

Nice deadlift! I think girls need PMS/TOTM bloat to keep them strong. You and MM are kicking butt.
Not telling must be a new trainer technique. I've heard that used before.
