well i am jealous of you and your running ability, and your lean hips and stomach! lol about your dream doing pull-ups. about a month or so ago i was sound asleep all snuggled up next to the boyfriend and he wakes me up asking me if i was dreaming about working out. apperantly i was trying to raise my arms to the front and side, and i had been dreaming about doing my shoulder workout, and was doing front/side lateral raises in my sleep. ha. he sure got a kick out of that.

Cardio: 4 mile run at 6.7

my shoulder has been bothering me a little bit since my workout on saturday. then yestarday while lying on the couch i moved slightly and tweeked it a bit. i am pretty tight, so i took it easy today.

Shoulders:

tried some front/side raises and felt a tiny bit of pain, played it safe and stopped. did some rotater cuff exercises.

arnolds- one leg on bosu 12.5lbs 3x12
upright rows- 30lbs 3x30lbs

did some handstands and physical therapy. pretty low key workout weight training wise.

Food:

carbs: 209g 44%
protein: 125g 30%
fat: 49g 26%

total cals: 1758
kinda high on the cals for not doing much weight training wise.

That doesn't sound like me... I would probably have recommended meat.

Go to it, though, if that's what you want! It's sure a lot easier to get your protein intake up by using powder; I just feel like it's better for your body to eat foods that are as "unprocessed" as possible. I'm leaning more and more towards a Paleo diet - eat like a paleolithic hunter-gatherer (nothing but meat, fresh fruit and veggies, nuts, and water.) Our bodies evolved eating that way, and they work best when on that type of a diet.

That's my kind of lazy-ass diet. I eat like that when I don't make the time to prepare "take-along" meals or if I'm running late.

Are u a vegetarian gymgirl? i dont think ive seen any meat in your fitday, only fish.

btw thats impressive on the bicep curl - curling 40lbs with the bar!

ooops sorry tim it was pierini that posted the link to the protein powder. right now i drink the myoplex lite maybe 1 a week just for some added protein, but i'm looking for something lighter that i can take when i have trouble getting protein with regular food. the Paleo diet sounds great if only i could stomach the meat. how can you survive without cheese though!?!? lol i eat so much cheese.

minime, yes i'm a semi-vegetarian. i eat fish, eggs, cheese but no chicken, pork or beef. i have TRIED, but since i was a kid i've hated meat, i used to spit it out in my napkin...lol. i think it's a texture thing. fish is not my favorite thing in the world, but i eat it becuse i know it's good for me, and i need protein!

brat, that is a darn good 'lazy diet'! when i'm too busy, or too tired i don't even have the energy to eat fruit or veggies becuse i am too lazy to wash them. lol sad, but true.

ah - so u arent worried about the cruelty to animals then...i guessed not since u still ate fish. Though I have met ppl in the past who didnt eat meat as they felt sorry for the animals or whatever - and eat fish lol - do they think fish dont have feelings? hehehe

I should eat more fish actually - i dont mind the taste of stuff like whiting or haddock but i think trying to eat a peice of salmon might just make me puke! The bones are annoying though - even if they have the bones removed i always find some small ones!

Yeah my 'lazy' diet is more along the lines of cereal and other stuff that comes in packages lol - I am always eating fruit without washing it - my mother gives out to me about it - shes right i should wash stuff with all the pesticides and crap they use these days!

ick cheese - the only cheese Ive ever liked is the processed stuff that doesnt even taste like real cheese! I dont even eat that anymore. I guess I'm lucky as cheese is one of those foods that can clock up cals really fast for a small amount of food! like peanut butter...which unfortunately i love!
