Hello texas boy and welcome to DiscussFitness.

Your goals are achievable if you want them bad enough, and if you do, start training.

I've been to your big state two years ago, visiting Corpus Christi and San Antonio. Very, very hot in June. Good time to go somewhere else.

So start training, right now!

hi texas boy,

Invest some time reading old posts. There is a wealth of information here. After you have spent some time, you'll get answers to many of your questions. I'm sure you'll still have unanswered questions then, and that's the time to ask them. But you have to invest some time in reading what's here first.

Abs are made in the kitchen, so you need to make a commitment to eating clean, maybe start a food journal like many of us here have. But first, invest some time and read the jewels of info posted here.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hey you've started a journal!:

Just lay out your goals and plan of action as they relate to fitness activites, nutritional needs and priorities. You are sure to get feedback.
