ME Sq/DL Day

Pulling like an insane madman!

Deadlifts
135x3
185x3
225x1
315x1
405x1
455x1
495x1
535x1
550x1

Suspended Good AMs
5 sets of 5

Hyperextensions (minis and a 65)
4 sets of 6

Hyperextensions Revisited (doubled minis and a 85)
6 sets of 3

PR on the deads. I'm really surprised at how my leverage increased when I went with conventional form over sumo.

550!?

NICE. Really great to see that you can jump right back into things SF, I am absolutely loving your progress. Impressive as always, Westside style training has always worked out well for you. Keep it up!

DE Bench Day

Thanks, I love the routine and the lifestyle, really. I don't know how I ever let myself slip from it. Changed things up a bit today. Went really heavy (for me anyways) and low reps on my DE day.

OH DB Press
4 sets of 2 with 95 (never, in my life, have I come close to this)
2 sets of 2 with 85

Elbows Out Skulls
8 sets of 3 with 165

Dips
12 sets of 1 with +160 (if you're counting, that makes it 370lb.)

BB Front Raise
4 sets of 5 with 60

I'm going to be so sore.

Holy sh*t SF!

What supplements are you taking, out of curiosity? You're not crossing over to the darkside are you, lol? I am starting my first PH cycle next week, I can't wait. Not to offend but you're strength is just nuts bro! +160 on dips, that's insane. 95's for seated DB presses, crazy man. Keep it up! :

Well, it's not like I was repping with +160.

Currently I'm only using creatine+ribose and the usual slew of protein/weight gainer shakes.

The key to getting 2 reps with the 95s is that a spotter helped me get the DB's up before each set. If I would have had to fight them up to start off, I don't think I would have gotten anything.

And I'll see you in your journal about the PH thing.

Nice man. +160 is still friggin' awesome whether its for a single or for reps, I am definitely impressed. Creatine is just a staple in my supplements, I'll never stop that. Yeah I think I am just weak in seated DB presses, don't ask me why. I absolutely love keeping up with your progress SF, keep updating your journal here!

How much are you weighing these days? Any new pics?

I'm down around 210 an average. I meant to get pics when I started this journal, but I somehow managed to not take any. Look for some before the weekend.

ME Bench Day

And this morning. And I love ME days.

Flat Bench
45x5
135x3
185x3
225x3
245x1
265x0
255x0

Dips (because they got so much feedback last time )
5 sets of 5 with +110

Decline DB Bench
8 sets of 3 with 90s

I was spent. I wanted to do more volume, but no chance. The dips were deadly.

225x1
275x1
315x1
365x1
405x1
425x1
495x1
505x1

Really Wide Stance Good AMs
8 sets of 3 with 265

Pull Throughs
4 sets of 6 with 180

Bentover BB Rows

315x3

Workouts are looking damn good SF. : Strength is really impressing me, still. Keep it up.

I have been trying to talk to you lately about my training. I have decided to throw in some Westside principles and I am wondering what you think. Basically I am going to pick one lift and work up extremely heavy and then the rest of the exercises just keep them as assistance work. Basic push/pull/legs split, nothing new or confusing. Lemme know what you think SF. Thanks man.

Hey SF, what are face pulls again?

Skullcrusher strength is damn impressive, as usual. Nice work.
