i'm accountable to me
i'm 5'6", 165lbs, i lift weights 4 days a week, 50 minutes each session. (m/w am-t/th pm) i bike twice a week for 1 hour (t/th) am, swim 1/2 mile (m/w) twice a week pm.
i'm trying to get back to my "fighting" weight of 130.
Meal 1) I eat oatmeal (not instant) with fruit before my am (weights) workout or i eat yogurt and fruit for breakfast on my afternoon workout days
Meal 2) (cliff bar) protein bar or gramcracker w/peanutbutter and a piece of fruit
Meal 3) 1/2 tuna sandwich w/miraclewhip, salad w/flaxseed oil & winevinegar
Meal 4) beans & rice, salad salad w/flaxseed oil & winevinegar
Meal 5) what ever i make for the family
this is what my day usually looks like, however, its not what i've been eating lately. i have been giving into all of my cravings
for example, today i started with a banana, then ate the remaining "hot tamalies" from last night's movie. then i had some baked chips, about 1 serving. then i went to tacobell and had a grilled stuffed burrito with chicken not beef and no sauce, a sm nacho and a 7-up.
i am going to write in this daily so that i can be accountable to me.
any and all feedback is welcome.
thankyou

First of all.. The hardest thing is to make the effort in the first place... Congrats for keeping a positive mental attitude, and I hope it works well for you!
Isn't Hydroxycut a supplement that boosts your metabolism for increased fat loss?
If so, eating cookies/junk is a bad idea, but you knew that already.
One thing that really helped me is to find something that's good for you, but is actually like a snack or something. For Me, Low Fat Yoghurts or Scrambled Eggs (yolks removed) feel like junk to me, but they are actually good I also drink pure fruit juice a bit (not late at night), and that helps with sugar cravings. Protein Bars are pretty good sometimes too as they suppress sugar cravings. I find that sugar free gum makes me feel a little more hungry, so you could try it and eat more healthy food. If you eat junk, it makes you feel bloated and you'll lose your appetite, so your whole day will be thrown off...
Just out of interest.. What type of Juice are you drinking with the Creatine? I thought anything with Citric acid is very bad for taking with Creatine?
Just looking at what you eat, it looks like to me that you don't eat enough calories per day.. and that could be the reason you 'cheat' with cookies and stuff.. If you eat enough of the other food, you won't feel like a cookie or burger king, so you might wanna try that.. just make sure it's not more cookies
Anyway.. hope this works for you.

Hi you're doign extremely well to know you're only accountable to yourself for if you want it you will have it. if you do not you won't.
The only thing I see which I might say somethign on is you seem to start off quite well in the day but fall apart later on. That suggests to me you may not be eating enough good food earlier on in the day.

Hi Teresa,
I'll be curious to hear about your experience with Hydroxycut. I've spent a lot of time in drugstores the past month looking at supplements myself. I notice that a lot of them you're supposed to take 1 hour before eating, and that strikes me as something that's probably quite difficult to remember to do. At least, I would find it so. I'll be interested to hear more about how that works for you.

THANKS FOR THE REPLY, I DID'T EVEN NOTICE IT YESTERDAY, I WAS SO FOCUSED ON MY ENTRY.
Isn't Hydroxycut a supplement that boosts your metabolism for increased fat loss?
IT IS A TYPE OF FAT BURNER - OR SO I WAS TOLD. IT AFFECTS ME LIKE A DIET PILL.
If so, eating cookies/junk is a bad idea, but you knew that already.
THANKS FOR THE REMINDER, MY DAUGHTER KEEPS BAKING. I COULD RING HER NECK, BUT I ALSO DON'T WANT TO DISCOURAGE HER.
I AM JUST GOING TO HAVE TO UP MY RESOLVE TO NOT EAT THEM.
Just out of interest.. What type of Juice are you drinking with the Creatine? I thought anything with Citric acid is very bad for taking with Creatine?
I HAD PINEAPPLE/ORANGE, it does say right on the bottle take with your favorite drink except caffeine or citrus. thanks for the reminder.

THAT IS PROBABLY TRUE. MY PRIORITY IS 1)TO WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN, 2)TO WRITE DOWN ITS NUTRITIONAL VALUE, 3) BE ON "THE MONEY" EATING RIGHT.
Anyway.. hope this works for you.

you are so right! i am trying the supplement, just for that reason. i get so hungry in the afternoon and go crazy with the bad stuff. you think 2 cookies is bad, see me when i don't supplement. i need to eat more vegis and fiber.
thank you for the suggestion and support.
