It's been long enough...

Wow, college really got me lazy. And fat. Therefore, it's time to lose some weight!

The Goal
Lose 15 lbs by Christmas

The Punishment
Should I not meet my goal... I will eat 1 can of dog food, and post the pictures.

The Plan
For now... lifting Su, Tu, Th. I am going to take some of Dan John's advice and try to get REALLY good at a couple exercises, I have chosen (tentativly) the squat and press. Others will be thrown in of course. Army PT Tu and Th. The basic diet will be low in carbs and fat, moderate protein.

I believe my current weight is around 220, I don't have a scale handy. I will be going home in 2 weeks or so, so the majority of the timeframe will be spent at home.

Sunday Nov 7

Squats
115 6x10

Military Press
65 3x10
70 3x10

Yea... It's been a while.

Hey man, good goal! I'd hate to have to see you eat a can of dog food bro, that's nasty! LoL Stick with things and 15 pounds shouldn't be too bad. :

Hey. Yes, and no. I was too busy with school and ROTC, time flew by and I missed deadlines and lost interest. I am still interested in strongman type training, but don't have equipment here.

on one hand, i think it would be funny to see pics of you eating dogfood, on the other, i want to encourage you to meet your goals, oh the dillema.

j/k. good luck bro. shouldnt be too hard. eat clean, lift hard, do cardio. watch out for thanksgiving. that could set you back a bit.

Last year for Thanksgiving I saw on a diet, only ate turkey. This year is shaping up to be no different! Just gotta watch the beer between now and Christmas.

Tuesday Nov 16

Army APFT

Pushups 57
Situps 53
2 Mile 15:29 eh, not so bad.

Well, not too happy with my results, was really looking for more of everything. I did a lot better back during Ranger Challenege, during a impromptu PT test I did 58/62/15:27, but oh well, I passed! Now it's time to really get cracking, I have what... 6 or 7 weeks until ROTC starts up again, time to hit some weights and run and all that good stuff. And diet too, wish me luck.

Sunday Nov 21

Well I hit the gym today, yea... go me. I also didn't drink last night, Friday, however... woohee!

Bench
205 3x5

Military Press
115 1x5
135 2x5

Lat Pulldown
110 1x5
130 2x5

I've not done pulldowns in maybe a year or two, so they were iffy. My biceps hold me back.
