Did 8 sets of sprints with one minute walks between them. As I was going around Lake Merritt, I really had to guestimate sprint distances, which were appx. 40-50 yds each.
Then I did 5 sets of running up a 100 step flight of stairs.
School starts in a week; really looking forward to it. Finally it starts...

I think you have made a good dojo selection where to train. Be patient as they try to "fix" you. Don't forget the gosoku-ryu mindset. They will learn something from you in time. Be humble.

Did a karate workout tonight.
Had to work down near Pac Bell park today; total walking distance from my apt. to BART and then BART to office was 1.5 miles so 3 miles all together. Nice walk though down through San Francisco.

So ummm.... my girlfriend talked my into doing *ahem* yoga with her. It was the bikram style. Good long hour and half stretch. They leave the heater on in the room so you sweat the whole time.

Had to warm up a lot today! 40 degrees here in Oakland (yes that is extremely cold to Californians).
As always, walked to and from the gym. Did a set of pull ups and then stretched.
Bench Press 1x10-135 1x8-155 1x6-175 1x8-155 1x8-135
Incline Situps 30, 20, 20, 20
Squats 1x10-135 3x8-185

Did a karate workout tonight. Met a guy there who used to go to the annual IKA tournaments in Glendale.
Thanks JD. Thats a photo of St. Ignatius Cathedral at USF. Beautiful campus. Almost as nice as UC Berkeley
