Thanks, all of you. Pierini - your post made me think of a baby shirt I saw at the mall one time. Printed on it were these words:

"Daddy's little tax deduction." Heh.

March 18

Time on feet cardio -- nothing too strenuous. I set the incline at 3% and did a slow, steady pace for an hour (5.32 miles).

Thanks guys. Ty - the stair sprints are challenging. I enjoy the burn from them. The track sprint work is Sunday, as long as it doesn't freaking snow or rain again.

March 22

I was able to duck out for a run, my first spring loop of the river bridges, today. The distance is about 3.3 miles. I didn't time it. I just enjoyed the spring air and the sun on my face.

When I got back to the gym I did a mini shoulder/triceps workout.

Unilateral standing DB press: 50x8 each side
One-arm DB upright row: 30x10 each side
Face pull: 87.5x10
Superset: Dips (BWx12) plus DB overhead tri extensions (15-rep strip set: 25x5/20x5/15x5)

Tri-set: CG bench 115x6 - Front squat 115x6 - Cheat upright row 115x6 (with leg push)
Cybex low row strip set: 185x5 - 175x5 - 165x5 - 155x5
