those are some impressive numbers :
445 on deadlift oh my goodness, that is.. over 200kgs. Im just trying to visualise a bar with that much weight on. Thats like 3 25kg plates and a 15kg on either side! i can safely say i have never seen anything close to that done.
you go jdr!

Nice time, nice improvements, nice workouts. You are a dedicated individual. I agree with GG, going off to karate after that? Dedicated my man, very dedicated.
I'm doing my kung fu and boxing workouts after weights....WAAAAY after, like 8 hours later kind of after. You are doing these things close together? Wow.

Thanks Gymgirl and Welch, it was tough. I would say things were not as
snappy as I would have liked.
Welch, I've been (always check it) reading your journal and like your striking
workouts. And I'm with you - I'm definitely a low kicker. And love to sweep!

Murph
Mile One-8:03
100 pullups
200 pushups
300 squats
5-10-15 x 20 = 34:42
Mile Two-10:32
Total Time: 53:17
All pullups and squats unbroken.
Pushups: first 6 sets unbroken; set 7-19 first 7 or 8 reg. then dropped
to knees and finished off the set. Set 20 all reg 5/3/2-not a pretty sight!
I'm very proud to say my youngest son (13) came with me today and did
Murph Light.
Mile One-7:55
50 jumping pullups: broken
100 pushups: some from knees
150 squats: last rd broken
5-10-15 x 10 = 15:42
Mile Two-9:36
Total Time: 33:13
An out standings effort and is showing to be mentally tough
on all the WOD's. He does what I give him and does not give up!

you sure rocked murph JDR! you are amazing, filthy 50 followed by karate then murph what a day or two later? damn you rock. i just now realized (well yesterday when reading the comments on CF) that you can partion the pull-ups, push-ups and squats like that. I had always understood partion them as needed meaning you partion the 100 pull-ups as needed say, 10x10 then you move to the push-ups and do the same, followed by squats once you complete push-ups. thats pretty cool that you can break it down and do it cindy style.
bravo to your son too...that is fantastic, way to start him young. it's a great way for him to learn that he can do whatever he puts his mind to.

That's a great time for Murph, you are on a roll. I just realized that your initial post here at Discuss Fitness was a Murph and your time today is substantially faster than that initial post. That's what is great about logging, the archival benefit plus the visual feedback of documented progress. The sky's the limit.
Tell the little one that I'm super impressed with his effort. I'm sure he knows that this type of training will spill over and provide great benefits with his football.
Hope to see you this Saturday.
