I want to see it. Wear it to the dojo on Saturday.

edit: p.s. Check out the thread "2007 Measurable Fitness Goals". We need to hear from you. Tim has spoken and gymgirl too.

gymgirl.... there wasn't a big selection and JRD3 likes the hoods. I purchased the red hooded sweatshirt that says "Cross-Fit -- forging-elite-fitness" ... and besides red is a good color for him... hehehe.

Biked to gym

Short warmup

Three rounds for time of:
100 SDHP's, 45 pounds: 50-50 / 15x6-10 / 12-13-15-20-15-15-10
45 pound Thruster, 50 reps: 20-15-15 / 10x5 / 15-15-10-10
30 Pull-ups: 8-3-3-3-3-3-3-2-2 x 3

Time 44:21

Rd 1 - 4:09/3:09/3:50 - 11:08
Rd 2 - 6:37/4:29/5:02 - 16:08
Rd 3 - 6:59/4:58/5:07 - 17:05

Well that was a lot of fun!
This one deserved the full breakdown. First round went well time wise, when I got to the pullups and reached for the bar and my arms didn't what to go that high I knew I was in trouble! As you can see the times fell off after that. A little queasy in the middle of the last Sumo's and what pops into my mind is the scene from Liar Liar where Jim Carrey is in the bathroom and a guy walks in and asks him what he is doing and he replies "I'm kicking my ass"! Amazing what goes through my mine in the middle of some of these wod's.
So the pullup bar is in the middle of the gym, and I had not done this before, so after the last pullup I dropped and made a huge sweat angel!
I figured Tim and Gymgirl would appreciate that!
Get home and jump in the shower quick because I'm betting if I sit awhile I won't be able to reach up and wash my hair!

hahaha. that is awesome! dosen't it feel great to make a sweat angel?

Great job on this one JDR, and i really enjoyed reading your re-cap of the workout. too funny about that scene from liar liar! lol, i haven't seen that movie in a long time so i don't remember it exactly, but you are right, it's amazing what goes through your mind when doing WOD's!

so now i am curious, will your lats and arms be more sore then your legs and booty tomorrow? oh and i feel you about reaching up to that pull-up bar. i'm going to have thrusters join the list with SDHP's on the exercise lifts from hell.

again, great job this was a brutal one.

p.s. no-frills thanks for the info on the hoodie. i forgot the sweat****s dont have phrases on them like the t-shirts!

Don't show up at the dojo tomorrow looking like a rodeo cowboy who has been bucked too many times off the wild bull.

Good job on WOD, JDR. This WOD seems to consistently put quite a hurting on all who try it.

Wow man, you are doing great.

I've never done the sweat angel thing myself. Just puddles. I keep a towel with me all the time now since it makes ice in my gym. Can't afford more injuries.

Pretty cool to work hard enough to do that though. You guys that do so much bodyweight stuff confuse and impress me at the same time.

Note, "I'm kicking my ass" would be a nice sig considering your workouts and that you don't have one.

Thanks Everyone, a little sore now but I usually get hit hard the second day after a tough WOD so I'll let you know tomorrow.

Welch you just may see that for my sig, good call!

12/30
A.M. Karate workout

Biked to gym at 4pm

CFWU x 2

Hang power clean 3-3-3-3-3-3-3 reps
95-115-135-155-165(fail/made/made)-155-155

3rd rep on all sets was my best lift, seemed I needed first two to get technique right.
