That's alot of training volume today. I'd need more than Japanese food to tame my appetite after all that. Good job. Hope to see you this Saturday.

Improving all the time. There does appear to be something to this crossfit thing you guys are doing. Nice work.
A question for ya. Does the crossfit improve your karate workouts?

Most definitely!
The workouts feel much easier. During training when you get a break it seems like a huge rest time compared to CF workout. My time needed for recovery has improved a ton. And the endurance benefits from CF really show when sparring.
As a note I have decided to not do CF on Tuesdays and Thursdays unless it is a max lift day for the time being. The reason for this is I was not getting max effort out of myself at Karate. I am getting close to one of my goals and want to be fresh when training from here on in until goal is reached. Don't get me wrong, I was still putting in a good workout, I just feel I was cheating myself. On Saturdays we train in the morning and I do CF in the late afternoon and that seems to work well.

I love you guy's honesty with yourselves and not cheating yourself. One way to not cheat yourself. If your gi isn't wet, you were sandbagging - make yourself run afterwards.
Oh wait, you guys like running so that may not work for you. Kept me motivated though, I hate to run.

great job on michael and yesterdays WOD, double whammy for you!
i see you made that decision to cut out CF on tuesday thrusdays AFTER the WOD for today was posted....trying to get out of Linda? j/k. it makes a lot of sense, i still don't know how you were doing the WOD then karate!
hope you and no frills had a great valentines day! how was the movie?
p.s. the best part about sushi is the pickled ginger! i have to pile it up to even tolerate sushi, and veggie kind only!

Gymgirl, will do Linda friday. I'm going to try to make up the one I miss when possible. I'll just have to figure out when my rest days will be.
We had a nice v-day! We both like Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore, it was a very good date movie.
I'm not a sushi guy either but they make a lot of food I like. It may be No-frills favorite though.
Minime, I know, steak and potatoes!!!!!!! Oh, and a good cold beer!!

I think as weight gets closer to rx time will go up.
After you achieve rx you will be able to start bring time back down.
Just my thoughts.
Today was first time out of comfort zone on deads and it showed on my time as first 4 rds were broken and before they were all unbroken. Which in turn effected the bp and pc.

fantastic improvment on linda as well over the past year! I think you nailed it when you said as weight goes up time goes up and once you hit RX'd you can work your time back down. i can't beleive you went from DL 145 to 315 yesterday! fantastic progress!
