Hey JDR.

I just wanted to check in as I saw something on MSNBC about 36 schools in NorCal being on lockdown because someone threatened to pull some VT action. I don't know how close that is to you but wanted to check and make sure you, no-frills and your boys are ok. Hope that wasn't too close to where your kids go to school. Anyway, take care.

Thanks for checking on us Gymgirl. We are more in central Cal, so no problems. I haven't been checking my journal(nothing to enter) sorry it took so long to respond. No-frills says hi and don't give up on her. She'll be back.

Officially out of CF shape. Time is 2:10 off PR.
Plan is to CF on Wed.- Fri. and the weekend (baseball tue-thur). Lets hope schedule stays on track. Even Karate workouts are getting missed!

Oh good, glad to hear it wasn't close to you guys. Central Cali huh..I don't know why I thought you and Mr.P were in NorCal.

Glad to see you back at it, and I'd never give up on No frills! You guys have a lot going on right now.

Since Wednesday is a CF rest day, you should do today's WOD, LINDA on Wednesday! : I just want more people to suffer through this one with me. haha.

I didn't mean I would DO it with you! (That meaning never even occurred to me...)

I'm not "as rx'ed" yet either - the dead and clean are there, but bench is a long way off.

I know, I know...my mind is in the gutter today. Ever since Brat started pointing out all the little things that can be interpreted dirty...well...now i'm actually starting to notice them!

I'm in the same boat, I think I can manage dead and clean but not bench.

10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 reps of the triplet:
Deadlift: 1 1/2 body weight:sub 1.3 (315)
Bench press: body weight:sub .55 (135)
Clean: 3/4 body weight:sub .55 (135)

Time: 47:50
Only had two bar, so used same weight for bench and clean.
Clean weight was good but bench would have been better at 175.
I didn't want to peel weight and move the bar(lazy,I know....).
For not working out as regularly I'm happy I survived. Drenched head to toe.

Note: last time did with 315-195-155 in 40:02
It was heaviest Linda I have done.

Complete as many rounds as you can in twenty minutes of:
65 pound Hang clean, 12 reps
7 Pull-ups

8 rds + 6 hang cleans
Grip gone after 2nd rd. After that cleans went 6/6 and pullups 3/2/2.
Couldn't hold myself on the the bar for more than 3 pullups!

Then over to park for:
30 Jumping Bar Muscle-ups for time. Bar at nose level.

Time 10:15

Great job on Linda and yesterdays WOD! I can't believe you went and did the 30 bar muscle ups AFTER the WOD! You are a trooper.

Yeah the grip issue seems to be a common thing...You are doing great! :
