Morning Karate workout, tough morning for me with what we were working on, but good workout.

Biked to gym at noon
CFWU
OHS warmup: 45x10 - 95x5
Short warmup on treadmill

"Nancy"
Five rounds for time of:
400 meter run
95 pound Overhead squat, 15 reps

Time 18:37
First 3 runs were at 8.0, last 2 were 7.5 and 6.5!
OHS all went well. Took to long to start the ohs on the last 3 rds trying
to catch my breath! Time killer. Was hoping for under 17.
5 mins on the floor!

1/4 mile cool down walk and then biked over to park

Four rounds for time of:
5 Jumping Muscle-ups
25 Squats

Time 11 min flat........... I had nothing left!

The bike ride home seemed like a workout in itself!

good work JDR! Nancy is really tough, and I still think your time is excellent. Way to double whammy it with the WOD's, then throw in your morning karate workout, and all that bike riding...you must be exhaused. Great work. Stay cool, sounds like it is hot in Cali.

JDR, I just noticed what you added to your signature! I LOVE IT! I have that video saved on my desktop and I watch it from time to time when I need a little motivation. You should add 'it's ok to be a pussy' to your sig too. hahaha.

p.s. took care of your other whoops. Good luck with Cindy and DL's today.

Biked to gym
CFWU x 2 -pullups,pushups

"Cindy"
Complete as many rounds in 20 minutes as you can of:
5 Pull-ups
10 Push-ups
15 Squats

13 rds in 19:53

About 10 min break

Deadlift 1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1 reps
225-315-365-385-405-405-405-405

Good workout, pushups were the time killer on Cindy.
Form was a little sloppy on 405 so stayed at that weight.

I can't wait until the day that I am good enough at pullups that pushups would be the biggest time killer for me!

Biked to gym
CFWU X 2 -pullups
Bench press wu: 45x10-95x5-135x5-185

BWT 245
"Lynne"
Five rounds for max reps of:
Body weight bench press: sub 185 first 2 rds-155 last 3 rds: 6-4-10-8-7
Pull-ups: 10-10-9-8-7

Very disappointed in the bench, shoulders were not happy. But pullups were better than I thought they would be.
First time doing bp since the last time doing Lynne.
Need to add some chest work more often.

Finished with 50 pushups-very broken

Biked 2.75 miles to high school

Ten sprints for time:
Run 100 meters

warm up / 15.84 / 15.41 / 16.16
Only completed 4 runs. Left upper hammy started to tighten so played it safe.
Happy with the 15.41, would like to get 14 anything next time.

Biked 2.8 miles to gym
CFWU -pullups
OHS wu: 45x5-95x5-115x5

Complete as many rounds in twenty minutes as you can of:
50 pound Weighted pull-ups, 5 reps: sub 35 lbs.
Bodyweight overhead squat, 5 reps: sub 95 lbs.
Scale as needed.

10 rds in 19:43
Settled on 95 lb ohs because I could go deep with control.
This actually felt good on the left hammy.

Biked .7 mile home for a total of 6.25 miles

Morning 40 min walk of the hills with No-frills and the dog

Biked to the gym at 4 pm
CFWU x 2

Three rounds for time of:
Row 500 meters: sub 400m runs
50 Wall Ball shots: sub 45 lb thrusters
Post time to comments.
If you don't have access to a C2 Rower, substitute 400 meter runs.

Time 18:44
Left hammy-glut sore so runs were slow
Shoulders couldn't take wallballs, thrusters no problem
