Congrats on the 16 rep PR. Adding one additional rep gets hard where you are at. This I know all too well.

That's what is great about weighted singles. That final BW set after taking all that darn weight off. Got to add them to my short list.

Let's see, you're about 245, right? So you pulled 345 lbs over the bar.

Dang.

Today was 5K run day, but turned out more of play with the dog at the school day(Frisbee).

Walk .75 - run 1.5 - walk .76

Not the most taxing workout but hey the dog got her work in, she is out!

Karate workout

7/27
No workout. Up to Lake Tahoe for the weekend. Are staying with our friends
who have a house in Tahoe Keys. Friend asked me to bring my bike and we
would go for a ride.

7/28
17 mile bike ride
Started out at friends place in the Keys(Elevation 6200 feet) and headed
for Fall Leaf Lake(Elevation 6400) and then onto Angora Lake(Elevation 7450) and then back.
Not at all the bike ride I was expecting but I knew something was up when we left the house and he was up to full speed from the get go! From the start of mile 5 till we got to Angora Lake it was 90% the lowest gear possible,8.5 mile.
I probably walked 1.5 miles of the last 3.5, my friend rode the entire way! Legs could not spin that low gear that long. With the walking I was about 10 min. behind him to the top. Incredible views and very
happy I made it up. Only timed to the top, I hit stop instead of lap(1 hr 8 min.), ride back was very quick with a lot and i mean a lot of braking.
Great workout, one I was not expecting at all!
