Congrats on the PR.

I know you did this WOD not that long ago. I'm too lazy to go back and search your journal. How did you do this time compared to last time?

Keep the pedal to the metal!

workouts are looking great JDR! You got a good time on helen, nice work getting all the swings unbroken. I too feel like peirini, i don't like to drop the DB as it is such an effort! sometimes i can't help it though! they are so draining.

Also great job on the fifties, when i read through that WOD i always shudder at the '50 burpees' part.

160lb Shoulder press :

Biked to the gym
CFWU x 2 -pullups

5 rds for time:
1/4 mile run: 7.0 - 7.2 - 7.4 - 7.6 - 8.0
12 pullups

Time 18:35
The workout was to also have 15 deadlifts per rd but
bars were not avalible, just bad timing which doesn't
happen very often. Wanted the running today most.

CFWU -pullups

Then out with dog for 3.5 mile bike ride along creek.

Thanks Brat, I was real happy with the Press PR!!

9/13
CFWU

Three rounds, 15-12-and 9 reps, for time of:
135 pound barbell Thrusters - Modified: 5/5/5/ - 6/4/2 - 5/4
45 pound weighted Pull-ups: 3/2/2/1x8 - 2/2/1x8 - 2/1x7

Time 19:27
Wanted to do the 135 so just went as low as I could, the thruster actually looked like a deep pushpress, I still had trouble!
A lot of time spent looking at the pullup bar........

No rest, just long enough to switch weight, then:

Three rounds, 15-12-and 9 reps, for time of:
65 pound barbell Thrusters - Down to 18" bench
25 pound weighted Pull-ups: 5/4/2/2/2 - 4/2/2/2/2 - 4/2/2/1

Time 9:36

CFWU -pullups
