good job on the tabata workout too! I didn't do this today but i want to do it soon, its a fun one! well.. sort of..

your time on the thruster, lpull etc workout was very good.. even taking into account your modifications. That workout looked evil.

That's cheating!

Nice job - that's another CrossFit WOD that I have dodged big time.

"Michael"
Three rounds for time of:
Run 800 meters @ 7.5 - 7.7 - 7.7 down to 6.8(I faded bad)
50 Back Extensions
50 Sit-ups

Time 28:43
I'm not disappointed in my time, I'm just stuck at 28 min.
Always a good one.

Karate workout canceled
4 mile trail ride with son and dog

10/28
Biked to gym
cfwu x 2 -pushups
Press warmup

For time:
50 Ring Dips:sub assisted dip 80
Run 400 meters: @ 8.5
50 Push-ups
Run 400 meters: @ 8.5
50 Handstand push-ups:sub Presses 10x105 - 10x95 - 10x85 - 20x75
Run 400 meters: @ 8.5

Time 28:21
Happy with the effort, nice to get all the runs at 8.5
Dips were with less assist, Presses much heavier, run were faster than last time!

Note: Checked my time for this on 8/1 and posted 18:20. I definitely posted the wrong
time, I believe it should have been 28:20. So todays time is very good with the
increased weight and faster runs.

Biked to gym
CFWU x 2 -pullups

With a continuously running clock do one pull-up the first minute, two pull-ups the second minute, three pull-ups the third minute... continuing as long as you are able.
Use as many sets each minute as needed.
Post number of minutes completed to comments.

9 min + 6

Power Clean 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 reps
135-155-175-195-195-205f-175

Wasn't into it tonight and it showed. The 205 had me beat before I even started.
Pullups were just ok.

Good job on those power cleans nonetheless. I know what you mean with your 205 comment. I've experienced that and a similar experience with box jumps max attempts. It's like the mind won't let your body do what the body is not prepared to do.

i totally hear ya on the mental block thing. i did the same on cleans, 115 had me before i even attempted. i didn't even shrug and just was beat before i began. had to step away for awhile and clear my head before attempting again. its amazing how much of working out is mental.

great job on sundays WOD too, that one just sucks, period! keep up the great work!

Thanks all, power cleans definitely beat me mentally that day.

10/30
Karate workout

10/31
Biked to gym
CFWU x 2

5 sets of:
1 hang power snatch + 10 OHS - 95 lbs
One min. rest between sets

Was suppose to do - Front Squat 5-5-5-5-5 reps - but squat rack
was being used and I was on a time schedule. Still not a bad workout.
Depth was my full range. Last 3 reps of set 4 were my only wobbly ones.

cfwu x 2

"Diane"
21-15-9 reps of:
225 pound Deadlift
Handstand push-ups: sub 115 press for 21/15 - 105 for 9

No time - did not time today ,have had a little pain in lower right side of back
so took my time on deads. 21 went 6/5/5/5 - 15-6/5/4 - 9
Last set everything was loose and felt ok.
Happy with the press weight, heaviest I've done for Diana, usually 95.
