Thanks Mm, After the 5k it was either modify it or don't do it. Even at those numbers
the thrusters got me good. Real happy with my run time though!

I was kidding JDR! It was hardly cheating when you did 5km run beforehand! I did nothing before hand, used less weight on thrusters and I still felt like death afterward

that was one tough WOD!

hey JDR!

Workouts are looking great! how's the shoulder feeling? I was thinking of you and have a little story for you. I was thinking DAMN who would appreciate and understand this cool story? JDR would. haha.

i worked a cert this weekend, and guess who one of the other trainers was? SPEAL! He is such a nice guy. day two at lunch we did a trainer WOD (it was that workout with 155#/100#hsc and (3) 15 foot rope climbs.) i'd never climbed a rope in crossfit, and lisa ray thought me right before the workout. I have to say it was one of the coolest crossfit moments, doing a wod with speal. ha. what surprised me is the rope climb was supposed to be legless and i remember at round 2 looking at him and he was shaking his head totally bent over and said to me, i can't do this legless anymore. that workout was so tough i actually had a breakdown and started crying 1/2 way through lol. my body and grip just stopped working and i was destroyed. i still cannot feel my finger tips on my left hand. anyway, point of the story is speal is not only a badass but one of the nicest people ever.

please tell no frills hi for me! keep up the great work!

Gg, very cool story!! It has to be great meeting all of the CF people at the certs.
And on top of that doing what you love. I can just imagine how hard you were
pushing yourself doing that wod with speal, that little breakdown was probably
deserved! lol

Shoulders are doing fine. Haven't been hitting the wod's as of late, I've been having
some lower stomach/pelvic area problems on the left side. So have been doing what
I can. Not a lot of bending going on in my workouts. Will be hitting it hard again soon.

It's nice to here speal's a good guy and thanks for sharing the story!
