hehehe - pulled my back outa whack doing them. I had to go to the chiropractor for an adjustment - awwww, what a relief THAT was!!!!
I think maybe because #1 - it was first time I had ever tried deadlifts #2- I did them same day as squats #3 - maybe the weight was too heavy?
I don't know but being in pain while working all week made me a little (lot) scared of them..... being scared = balsy, no? lolol

255 x 1! PR

Cable Crossovers:

70 x 10

70 x 10

Gripper:

115 x 15
115 x 15

Overall decent workout I guess, had a GREAT pump in my chest, but wasnt feelin as strong as usual. Triceps were pretty shot so I didnt do too much in there today, wasnt really feelin like stayin in there for long. I'm going to take a whole week of from my push day and not hit it again til next wed/thurs, maybe I'll do a day and focus on shoulders and triceps, we'll see, legs tommorow.

Hey Griff, have you thought of removing cable crossovers from your chest workout? I have stopped doing flyes/crossovers for awhile now and my chest has taken off........

Actually I've stopped it for a long time, just threw it in the other day. Some of the best chest contractions you'll get, I'm tired of doing a PL workout only, so I'm throwing in some exercises for hypertrophy and muscular contractions on each of my push/pull and leg days.

Are you still using the SAN V-12? If so, do you think it is beneficial? Impressive lifts and very informative journal. thanks for the great tips!

haha right on amy, hey, just tuck those things away, no one will notice...

Dano: Ya, I'm still using the v-12, only on days I lift, 30 minutes before my workout, I've been getting good pumps and my stamina seems to be pretty good in the gym, feels like I can do set after set after set, so I'd definitely say its beneficial.

Thanks. I may give it a try. Question about deads... can you do them with dumbells? I know the barbell's a lot more beneficial because you can pile on the plates, but there are times when I'm on the road traveling and they don't have a bar to use. Would you just grab some heavy dumbells and hold them in front just like you would a bar?

Nice one Amy! HA!

Ok, that's what I thought. I'll just make sure I schedule my workouts so I do them when a barbell's available. appreciate the honesty!

Yeah, u could get away with doin dumbbells while on the road, they are better than nothing. But, eventually you wont be able to put enough weight on the dumbbells to make it worth while.

If you are going to a hotel, try to get one with a gym.
