Oh boy, now thats a challenge, 405 x 6 would be impossible for me right now, I know I dont have that in me, my god 405 x 3 almost killed me, I just had enough for that last one, a 4th could have been possible, but I severly doubt it, soon though...soon :
P.S. I definitely think you have 405 in you for sure.

Hmm... Id ont know man. Dont sell yourself short. I think in 2-3 weeks its very likely you could get 405 for 6.
I know how hard it is to do deadlifts. I also see stars sometimes and i do get lightheaded, usually on the first set. I think its from my body rushing all the blood to my lower body areas and not keepin enough in my brain to function lol.
Maybe one day after my 3 heavy sets ill attempt a max, as Id really like to know what I can do as well. I need to buy some more 45's though lol.

thanks ranger and dark, to answer your question dark the fat loss is comin along pretty darn good, my weight has stayed right around 238-240 but my waist is down to about 37.5" I'm feeling really lean (for me) despite not dropping any actual weight. Thats fine with me because I feel like my shouders/chest and arms are all getting bigger. I wouldnt mind being 240 of solid ripped muscle haha

easy now mr jack.... 385x3? seems pretty awesome as your bench is 275... not trying to say your bsh**ing..... i have never done lockouts before so i wouldn't no how much more it would add to your max... (i assume we're talking bench here?) you do it on a free bench? or in a squat cage or summink using safety bars?? i might have to try these... just bring it down six inches?

haha, "mr jack",ya man trust me you can pile on the weight. I do it in a squat cage, set the pins 6" from where I would lockout on flat bench, slide under it til you're in a spot where itd come down in a normal range of motion and just push up, then bring it back down to the pins and do it again. You can also do 10" lockouts, or set the pins near your chest, ex: 2", 4". Give it a shot, its good to work different parts of your rom when working for a big bench.

Firehawk: Ya more or lest, they strengthen the triceps and basically help you with that last part of the ROM. I wouldnt say I'm doing a powerlifting program per se, I'm not sure I do incorporate some stuff in there as I really want to get my 3 lifts up there, with 2 push days in a week I thought itd be best to do bench on one day, or maybe pin presses (set 2", or 4" off my chest) and the next push day do lockouts, 6"-10". I do accessory lifts as well to help with these lifts. But some days I'll just be throwing in body building type stuff, I just like to do different things. I really like the 8 sets of 2 though, thats good stuff.
Kungfu: haha ya man, lockouts are great for the ego, trust me you can do much more than your max on here, you'll see once you give it a try. The reason I only do bodyweight dips is because I can really only get 10-12 when I'm fresh, as you can see after all that I could only get 10, each set was til failure, do you think I should add some weight anyways and go in th 4-6 rep range???
