Weighted walk - is that a yoke, or what?

I made a yoke like this:
http://img101.imagevenue.com/img.php...8_PICT0379.JPG
http://img105.imagevenue.com/img.php...5d146_tt40.jpg
And it was really cheap, somewhere around $20. I have loaded it up with 360 lbs so far, and it's solid that far at least. There's a big difference between having the weight at the level of your shoulders and having it swinging around at your feet; I wouldn't want to go very heavy at all with a bar on my back.
Of course, I think you have a whole lot more experience with this stuff than I do, so I don't know why I'm spouting off...

I actually got the idea from a sticky in the Strength Training section of this website - it's titled "DIY Strongman Equipment".
I'm hoping to make myself a log to press some time this summer. Atlas stones are probably out, but I have a whole lot of big rocks lying around my house so I can use them.
