Pullup ladder... does that mean you do 1 pullup then 2 all the way to 10 and then back down? sounds brutal.

Great job on the tree drag..

your workouts always have me 'in awe' :

thanks guys for the comments.

minime, yes the pull up ladder is you do 1 pull up and then 2 all the way to 10 and if you wish back down. they are brutal.

well last week i went on a cruise and did some stuff and when i got back i started up a new program. so far so good. but it doesn't call for my favorite lifts though. it's a 3 day program that i got from a training dvd w/phil pfister (the '06 strongman champ).

on the ship:
shoulder press:
80x5
90x5
100x5
110x5
120x5

rows:
80x10
90x20
100x10
110x10

hammer cruls:
60x5
70x10
80x5
90x5

close db bench:
50x50

rows:
40x5
45x5
50x5

abs:
50 decline

i also did some other stuff but didn't write it down.

4-1-07:
2 rounds of side shuffles clock circles

3 roundsx12/leg of
walking lunges with over head presses used 30#

4roundsx5/side of lunge and bent over row used 30#

2roundsx6/leg step ups used 30#, then alternate left/right and so on

2 rounds x6/leg with no weights

2x6/leg side lunge used 30#

my legs were alright.

4-3-07
ladder for feetwork in and out 2 rounds

sled drag (tree drag) for 30 sec. 4 rounds
bear crawl and drag from behind

tire lift 147x16
80x8 and 20x8 on to platform

2rounds x50' bear crawl using 30# db. brutal.

Hey judo,

Are you competing right now? If so I feel sorry for your opponents!

Do you train in judo exclusively?

Best in training,
Will

I was wondering where you went! Hope you had fun on the cruise!

Your snatch and DL number look awesome! If you don't mind sharing, how much do you currently weigh?

How long have you been doing the strongman stuff? It looks like great training, I want to start trying some of it. I'm making farmer's walk bars out of galvanized pipe today (very excited). I also have plans for a yoke.

i've been doing strongman stuff off and on for about 3 years but just got into the workouts last sept. not long at all. i enjoy it and it reveals some boredom to.
