I think you'd be better off doing a cyclical ketogenic diet. That's must my opinion though.

big bump.

due to the glycogen being depleted, and no carbs to to replace the lost glycogen, you will very soon be tired and have no energy . The Cyclical ketogenic diet (CKD) is the atkins diet for 5 days, then a weekend carbload.

if your interested, ill give you some links.

What is your main goal for using the atkins diet?

Getting a bit tired of water though, must be something with some freaking flavor thats still low on the carbs

You can uncover fat and keep muscle mass using hte CKD, plus I think it's a very "fun" diet. Weekend carbups own, and 5 days in keto is a good tradeoff.

Been hanging at the c-k-d forums, thanks KetoManiac
Now deep into Ketosis, keto stix showing up mad traces, mouth tasting like metal, and piss smelling like a good old burnt tire lol.

But energy level is out this world, side effect is im not sleeping nearly as much and getting up earlier than usual feeling great. Having gotten on a scale but I can look in mirror and see some changes for the better in the last month or so, and even more with the onset of ketosis. Will weigh myself this weekend.

Jumped on the scale, weighed in at 249 lbs. Still along way to go but alot better than the 270+ I was at

Defination is starting to show up. Did my first carb up weekend, tried some new foods including sushi. Started cutting back the carbs on sunday and back into ketosis today. Energy level is good, and Im ready for another year of this at least.

Well had more some yummy carbs this weekend, missed good old Gatorade and bread whooo.

Stopped taken in carbs early Sunday, played some football and b-ball. Monday was beginning to get back into keto, and now Tuesday back in full swing.

Tipping the scales at 248lbs, long way to go

Tommrow will start off will my usual Keto jump start food, steak and eggs from the waffle house nothing shocks you back into ketosis like it lol

Friend just decided to start after seeing my results, he tried everything from weight watchers, to 7 meals a day and running himself into the ground etc etc with little results. So we will see what happens here.
