Luca Brasi's journal (gonna try this again)

Well, the last time I tried to do an online journal was about 8 months ago. I've still kept my journal on paper, but I'm going to give it another shot online.

Here we go:

Monday 8/16/04 Cardio & Endurance

2 mile run: 18:00 minutes
Lat Pull-downs: 20x (resistance) 7
20x7

Diet: no data

Keep it up! Having an online journal will help you and others alike. Having a paper journal is nice for the hard copy but having an online one means no spilt water or food stains on the sheets! : lol Nice work on wednesday!

I think I posted a bit in that journal 8 months ago so I'll try to put my .02 into this journal too.

What kind of routine are you using?

Currently I'm doing a routine similar to Max-OT, but instead of 5 days I grouped everything into 4 days of weightlifting...with a day of running/pull-ups/sit-ups every 3 days or so.

This weekend:

Ate like ****, drank like ****. What else is new?

Played some golf, table tennis (alot!) and pool volleyball, so that makes up for something

Although Max-OT is a good program, why not hit each body part twice a week?

Something like Day 1: Upper Body with 3x10 for exercises, Day 2: Lower Body 3x10, Day 3: Upper Body 3x3, Day 4: Lower Body 3x3.

Throw some dynamic effort into days 1 and 2 to compliment your heavier weights in day 3 and 4. I found that not going to failure like Max-OT has you do helps a ton b/c you can hit each body part twice a week.

I love hitting golf balls...it's so relaxing and when you crush one you feel really strong. Sorry for my ignorance, but what exactly is Max-OT? Some articles or something I could read maybe?

Max-OT is a workout routine that it seems half the world is on. Its good for building mass IF and ONLY IF you eat like a horse.

Tom...I might give that a shot a little later. I haven't done max-ot since last summer, so I figure I'd give it another shot right now.

I don't remember kickball being tough, but slo-pitch softball... boy howdy!

Haven't played kickball since age 10!!! That was always my favorite though, (that and tetherball...) sounds fun, ya, a lot harder now probably than when you're 10 years old at recess
