Making a fitness journal

So after being a member for a pretty long time, Ive decided to make my first fitness journal. Reason behind this is because I am trying to shed quite a few lbs in the next month or so, before I return home to visit next month.

So let me further introduce myself. I am 5'5 and I weigh around 152. As of right now, I run every morning for about 35-40 minutes at a rather slow pace, probably around 8min or 9min per mile speed. I also work out in the gym everyday around 6PM for an hour or so.

I am currently not seeing any results of fat loss, I can tell that I am putting on a bit of muscle though. I think thats a result of my poor eating habbits.

My goals as of right now are pretty simple. I just want to keep the muscle I have and lose body fat. I am not sure of what body fat percentage I am currently at, but I am in the process of figuring it out. Until then I dont really know what percent I am shooting for.

Alright, will add more tommorow such as what I eat and what activities I do in the gym. Cya!

Could you give a sample of what your diet currently looks like? If you want an easy way to track it, try fitday.com

Your routine doesn't sound too bad, but if you're really doing that everyday (7days/week) then you are most likely overtraining. What kind of exercises are you doing for weights? You may get bored of doing the same kind of cardio all the time, so it would be good to switch it up from time to time.

So give us a little peak at what your normal day is (Workout and diet), and we'll be able to give you better feedback.
