Nope just gifted. Only juice I have is when I make my breakfast.
1 litre of juice (well Fanta but theres oranges in that)
12 sausages
2 rings of pudding
8 rashers
9 eggs
toast
12 pancakes
Great start to the day keeps me going till I pass that cake shop beside work gotta love those eclairs.
Problem with most people is they dont eat enough to provide the growth they stimulate in the gym

shoulders yesterday
done dumbell press first time in a while. Got 5 reps on the 66lbs so was happy enough.
shrugs 6 reps on 280lbs.
some warm ups 2 work sets each and that was it.
Worried I was overtraining a bit so more important in weight than number of sets now not dropping weight for sets for next while.
Woke up with sore throat this morning so pretty nasty.

Im very erratic in my dedication to it but hopefully this time I can last a bit longer.
Im an attention maniac so as long as people keep posting ill keep posting.
So diet is crap so far up 4 hours later than normal only had some fruit and egg on toast and went in to get an annual full blood profile taken.
will have results in 2 weeks an will post them up.
Ok question which I need answered in next 3 hours have quite the sore throat today is arm day. Would you train?
It wont help the sore throat at all but a short workout may not bee too bad so...........

Is it just a sore throat, or do you have other stuff like tiredness/sniffles etc? If its just the throat and its not too bad, I'd say go ahead. If you feel fluey i would say skip it and get a lot of sleep.
Often happens to me on weekends if i stay in bed late have trouble getting the food in, so have to eat lots of chocolate (yes i HAVE to)

Sick from:
Neck up - train. Neck down - don't train.
Yeah, that's kind of general, but it seems to work fine most of the time.

I'd call it above. I've trained with a sore throat, sinus infection, runny nose, earache...with no ill effects. Chest cold - naah, too much risk of having a coughing fit under the squat bar or on the bench press. Got mashed that way a couple of times and learned better.

i've been training this week with a sore throat and working out seems to be helping. grab a bag of halls or ricola or something if you can, to help soothe it.
hope you feel better.

Nice workouts Max, the extra Vit C always helps me when I start to get a cold.
I've taken upwards of 5-10g per day a few times.

Thanks for dropping in I always welcome input especially when its from one of the sites big lifters.
Yeah Id say I took about 5g yesterday in total vit C. When I have ever been truly struck down I would take a gramme and a half every 2-3 hours.
Feeling slightly down a bit now shouldnt off gone ' cold turkey' will take another 2 grammes and some honey today and hopefully fully better tomorrow
