I did the mega dose thing on vit C at one time too. Funny thing is I just don't catch everything going around anymore. I get one good cold or flu every 2 years and suffer through it (usually half the time that most people take). After that my immunity is good to go for another 2 years.
I suppliment with vit.C, 1000 mg, when I remember to and especially when taking iron supps.

yeah I got a cold earlier in the year and that was my first one in 16 months. This sore throat i got is pretty much healed today so only lasted 2 days so Im pretty happy.
I found korean ginseng is brilliant.
This recent spate is prob due to loads of rain lately and a leak in the ceiling in my bedroom

Havent posted in a while so
Saturday was chest and back
BenchPress is a disaster. My close grip is now equal to it. There seems to be a problem with my lats maybe the lat insertion where on pushing motions they have absolutly no strength so I cant lift at all.
Failed on 220lbs for one rep
Its not a back problem as back is getting stronger.
New PB in bent overrows 5x 220lbs which for the first time means they are stronger than my bench press.
Any Advice?
Sunday was sprinting day, Im improving slightly but have dreadful coordination
Monday
Legs SLDLs curls extensions and calve no improvement
Tuesday shoulders
Did in gym before work so used smith machine
got 2 sets of 5 reps for 80kgs on military press but since its the smith machine its hard to take too much value from it but one thing for sure my shoulders are killing me today which is rare.
Rest day today.

Ok lets ressurect this baby again.
My excuse I was away in Latvia on a stag and had a load of recovery to get done after both in work and physically.
Ate poorly over there, too little sleep and too much alcohol. Stayed of it the last day though drank 5 litres of water and still felt dehydrated. Recovered now though and am as strong/weak (dep on how you look at it as before)
As a side note to all the single guys Eastern Europe, WOW!!!!!!!
So what have I achieved this week.
Shoulders and tris weaker than normal but was the day after my return home
Back a bit weak but trained at half 6 where before i was only going to bed at that time.
Legs, SLDL new PB 1 x 155kg / 341lb maybe could of got higher but maxed out on 140 and 145 before it.
Lower back a bit sore now nothing pulled but stiff and fatigued. When it comes to lower back I dont like that feeling of fragility.
So rest today, try to eat well which for me is to get enough in at middle of day slacking there lately and chest tomorrow.
Going to alter form dont think elbows were tucked in enough before hand could explain why close grip is prac as strong. Will see how it goes.

Hi Maxgain, but don't most of those fine-looking babes have a cigarette hanging out the side of their mouth. That's been my observation.
I guess if you are drunk enough then maybe it doesn't matter, but a babe with a cig is one I couldn't dig!

lol pierini : you are funny!
I have heard that most women in france smoke, and that is how they remain slender. However, I wouldn't know I have never been.
When I was in london last weekend, being in a bar was horrible as smoking is still allowed over there. Passive smoking alone would be reason enough for me to stay away from bars if I lived somewhere where the no-smoking rule was not enforced. It seemed like almost everybody smoked over there.

You could never be too drunk not to be disgusted by that.
Smoking was banned in the pubs over there so I was not witness to these displays and will not be allowing such suggestions to mar my memories
As an extra and very important note. Women if you drink pints do not come near me I can not stand it no matter how hot you are you will get no where -note I used the term women and not ladies for a reaon.

you know i can't stand smoking...especially women smokeres in the US.I'm sorry but i think it looks trashy. but when i was in france all the beautiful women smoked, and you know what? i thought they looked GREAT doing it. you know the french are chic when they can make SMOKING look elegant!
they just passed the no smoking rule in bars here in washington at the end of 2005 or early 2006 i believe. it has been so nice. it's great tobe able to go out and not have my hair and clothes smell of smoke.
maxgain what if a women drinks a pint but can hold her alcohol?

maxgain i used to drink pints but these days i stick to bottles : not that i care what men think of me just that i get drunk so fast I cannot drink a pint! one bottle and i am feeling the effects.
I love the no smoking rule in bars : i dont care if people want to smoke, its their choice, but why should I suffer from inhaling their secondhand smoke.
