yeah i did 100 but they were kipping, not strict. But i did a total of 20 strict! meaning yesterday I did 120 pullups in total

Its not the pullups I'm worried about (well.. I am a bit) but the pushups. 200 pushups is beyond me! It will take forever.

hey guys! sorry for delay with the 'murph' post.. lol. busy weekend with shopping/packing for vacation

Friday May 2nd
Warmup situps, back extensions, jump rope 5mins, shoulder dislocates

"Murph"
1 mile run
100 pullups
200 pushups
300 squats
1 mile run

57:53

woohoo! I completed murph, i completed murph.. I thought the day would never come. I broken it into sets 10 pullups, 20 pushups, 30 squats x10... the pushups were the worst, they took up sooo much of my time. First run 7:40ish second run 8:50 legs felt like jello. Kipping pullups, chest to deck pushups (well.. for the most part lol), squats to dynamax ball

awesome work, me!

Chris did full runs/half reps in 46 minutes. She wanted to do girly pushups but I was having none of it. She did jumping pullups though, as she can't kip yet (but she did get her very first real kipping pullup!)

Saturday May 3rd Bought a road bike from Chris that she doesn't use any more and we took our road bikes out for a ride round the river. Total distance 14 miles, it was very tough too! It's weird riding on a road bike, you have to lean over way more. I had my new bike computer on and my highest speed was 18mph.

We parked our bikes outside the cafe afterwards, and I tucked into some french toast with maple syrup, eggs &ham. Mmm good.

Sunday May 4th
Warmup Crossfit warmup, no pullups (hands are in terrible condition!)

"Dirty Dozen"
25 Walking lunge steps (EACH LEG)
20 Pull-ups
50 Box jumps, 20 inch box
20 Double-unders
25 Ring dips
20 Knees to elbows
30 Kettlebell swings, 2 pood (1 pood)
30 Sit-ups
20 Hang squat cleans, 35 pound dumbells (20#)
25 Back extensions
30 Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball (14#)
3 Rope climb ascents

21:43 (PR)

we had a friend of chris and his girlfried with us, so we did the dirty dozen instead of just '50 burpees' (what was up with that WOD?! weird) This was a 2 minute PR for me! Rope climbs get easier every time, I barely need to rest between climbs now (first time I did this WOD it took me 10 minutes to do 3 rope climbs!) I was way ahead of everybody, the next person finished 10 minutes after me... however he did use the full 2 pood for KBS and his ring dips were better than mine.

I weighed myself saturday morning and I was down to 105.5lbs which is lower than I've seen in a while! however back up to 107 the next day after all the sodium I had that day!

I am not planning to devote much time to running until the weather gets warmer.

I also have some goals in relation to crossfit named WODs, including:
15 round cindy yes
sub 30 Angie yes
sub 15 Fran no
sub 10 Annie yes
sub 12 Helen no
sub 15 Jackie yes

here is how I did with my goals to end of april. Clearly I did not devote enough attention to my running, but hope to remedy this during the summer months.

Overall progress was good, I did not get all of my goals, but that is ok.

hey guys, thanks for checking in on me!

I am back from Mexico where I had a wonderful time : lots of relaxing & overindulging which was just what I needed!

Though I did not drink the water, I did still manage to contract some sort of stomach bug : I spent the flight home last night in pain and visiting the bathroom frequently (very embarrassing) A late flight (we got in at midnight) combined with poor sleep, and my return to work means I am not a happy girl today. My tummy is hurting still, and I am very hungry (starving myself for 24hr...ick how do anorexic people DO it lol) but only 2.5hr or so left of work and I can go home!

I plan to sleep 12 hours tonight and hope to return to the gym tomorrow!

Nothing funnier than watching the look on a pretty woman's face as she exits the bathroom after being in there for a long time rubbing her belly on the way out, particularly if it is her umteenth trip!!

Why do visions of racer strips dance in my mind?

Welcome back!
