Thought I'd check in and see how you are doing. What are you weighing now, is any of it fat gain? Hope you are ok.

Hey fellas

Glad to see some interest still in my journal, I've kept posting but not really sure if anyone was really bothered.

Iain: The last time I weighed in I was up to 190lbs but that was over a week ago so I don't really know as yet. Initially I was worried about fat gains but I realised after a while that most of this was water retention. My belly is a bit bloated and my waist is up to 34" but, I don't think I have gained too much fat (maybe 2%) which is great considering the amount of calories I've been eating and the fact that I have done very limited amounts of cardio.

Brewsky: Enthusiam is fine bro, I look forward to every workout. I have the same trouble when I cut too bro, but I think things will start to go downhill as soon as I come off

TsiTalon: I will post pics after I have finished my post-cycle therapy, the reason for that is I don't want pics my fat ass polluting the internet I'll cut down on clen/ECA do the Nolva therapy and maybe tan up a bit, so watch this space!

BTW I didn't get the job and the rugby-training was fine!

Deadlifts
2x10 @ 132lbs
4x6 @ 286lbs

Chin-Ups
4xRM

Trap Machine Raises
2x10 @ 110lbs
4x6 @ 187lbs

Dumbell Pullovers
2x10 @ 33lbs
4x6 @ 60lbs

Dumbell Raises
2x10 @ 33lbs
4x6 @ 72lbs

Missed a session because of that damn job interview that I didn't get, I wish I could've paid more attention to my bi's during this cycle but sh*t happened outta my control. Kicked up the deadlifts another 22lbs which are now back breaking The dumbell pullovers gave me a much better burn than any cable rows ever did (free-weights rule )

Thanks for the input fellas, Jock

Well what can I say only 8 days left on my cycle, had my last Deca/Test shot today. I have one more Test shot on Thursday and I'm done. My weight is up to 193lbs which is fantastic but my waist is now pushing 35.5" which is the highest it's ever been, as I said before there's probably a lot of water retention but I feel like a right fat b*stard at the moment.

Clen/ECA Cycle

I start my Clen/ECA cycle on the 29th of July. I will start off on Clen at a dosage of 40mcg per day, I will then increase by 20mcg per day until I notice side-effects or I hit 120mcg. After 2 weeks of this I will switch to a 4-a-day dose of Xenadrine and so on until I reach my desired bf%

Post Cycle Therapy

This commences on the 14th August, I am going to run Nolvadex (Tamoxifen) at these dosages:

Day 1: 100mg
Days 2-11: 60mg
Days 12-21: 40mg

Post-Cycle Diet

I'm going to follow a maintanance calorie figure of 3500 per day and I will follow these percentages:
  • 50% Protein
  • 30% Carbs
  • 20% Fat

Post-Cycle Training

I'm currently in the process of putting this together, but I will probably cut down to weights 3x a week and downsize work sets from 4 to 2. I'm gonna use HIIT 3x times a week to aid fat-loss.

Thanks for the interest in my journal guys it's been a long 8 weeks and I wasn't really sure if people would get sick of it or not. Anyway I had my last Test shot today, 250mg into my glute. I can't believe how easy it is for me to do now, not like the first time!

Anyway the comments have been flying at me thick and fast, I had a lot of "Jesus what have you been on??" type questions, I laughed it all off saying "oh yeah just lazing around, eating too much and getting fat, you know"

My 'After' Stats:

Height: 5'8" (didn't expect this to change much but you know )
Weight: 196lbs
Bodyfat: 19%

Waist: 35.2"
Chest: 41"
Quads: 24"
Arms: 15"

What I have learned

Steroids are VERY powerful drugs, but they are NO substitute for hard work and a good diet, I know a lot of guys who try to bridge this gap by using more drugs in place of their poor diets and not-good-enough training habits, I like to think of myself as the 'user' rather than the 'abuser' (although there is a fine line)

My 'after' pics will be up asap

Steroid use does come with it's risks. Everyone reacts differently to drug-use and there is no telling who will react badly or who will get away without a single side-effect.

However, steroid use can be made far safer by the miracle of KNOWLEDGE. Being responsible about steroid use and learning what these drugs are capable of is key to using them safley. Unfortunatley there will always be idiots who can get hold of steroids without having any knowledge of them and use them irresponsibly, this is not just the case with gear, but with all drugs alcohol, crack etc.

95% of all steroid myths are untrue. There are a lot of anti-steroid people on this board (teenpumper, Magwheels etc) and that is fine, they are entitled to their opinions. My point is the whole facade about steroids and steroid use is untrue. To the average joe, a 'steroid-user' conjures up images of a 300lb oversized ego-maniac, with shrunken balls and a bad attitude. This is obviously not the case, it is a sad state of affairs when governments all over the world have to rely on lies and scare-tactics to stop steroid-use.

Steroid-use is very common and pretending it is only the 300lb mass monsters that do them is false. It happens in every level of sport. Sure there will be those who take their use too far and pay the ultimate price to be the best (their health) but there are other people out there who do use this stuff. They could be anyone friends/relatives/collegues/team-mates etc, just because they don't bech press 700lbs and block out the sun doesn't mean that they are not a steroid-user.

Contrary to popular belief I have been in some of my best moods since I started juicing. I have noticed some testicular shrinkage, water retention and a little acne but apart from that things have been fine.

I sure hope that people have learnt something from my journal, I aimed to give an unbiased perspective of my personal steroid-use. Both good AND bad. I hope EVERYONE who has read my journal on a regular basis has taken something from it

Thanks, Jock

Hi Jock-

Well, it appears that you have increased your lean body mass by about 14#... that's not bad at all!! Plus, you gained some valuable knowledge in the process.

That's a win/win situation in my book.

Now comes the hard part, eh? You know what I mean.....
