Thanks bro, squats felt nice and solid. I'm really frustrated with my hammy, SLDLs used to be one of my favorite lifts. I was doing sets of 5-6 with 315. It'll be awhile til I can work my way back up there unfortunately.

do what needs to be done and you'll be up there faster than you think.

The leg day felt good with the warm up, heavy squats, and high rep sets and then stretching. I might replace SLDLs with hyperextensions so it's more of an indirect hit as opposed to a direct hit to the injury.

Perfectly fine, it only hurts during/right after the workout. Never any other time. By the way sorry to all you guys for the lack of posts/support from me for the past week, it's finals week and a lot is going on, so I don't really have time to get on DF much.

School is a bit of a priority. Do that first man. We'll touch base with you after that.

SPEED BENCH, Wednesday, December 14, 2005
Speed Bench 10 x 45 lbs, 5 x 85 lbs, 5 x 95 lbs, 9 sets of 3 @ 115 lbs (3 diff. grips)
Seated OHP 10 x 115 lbs, 10 x 115 lbs, 6 x 125 lbs
Lateral Raises 6 x 35 lbs, 6 x 35 lbs
Front Raises 6 x 40 lbs, 6 x 40 lbs
Face Pulls 15 x 130 lbs

Notes: Speed bench reps were cake, all flew up easily. I think I started too heavy on the seated presses this cycle. I didn't realize I stalled out at 120s/130s last time. Most of the reps were solid and flew up, hopefully I'll be even stronger next week when I repeat it. Raises felt heavy, but then again I haven't done them in 1.5-2 weeks.

35s on lat raises I can do with pretty damn good form, the 40s is where form gets shaky. I might get a video sometime... actually wait. I broke my digital camera. So it might be awhile til videos come

BACK, Thursday, December 15, 2005
Stationery Bike 10 minute warm up
Deadlifts 10 x 45 lbs, 5 x 135 lbs, 5 x 185 lbs, 1 x 225 lbs, 1 x 275 lbs
Underhand BORs 10 x 45 lbs, 6 x 95 lbs, 8 x 135 lbs, 8 x 135 lbs, 8 x 135 lbs
Hyperextensions BW+25 x 20, BW+50 x 12, BW+50 x 12
Pull Ups BW x 3, BW x 3, BW x 3
Hammer Curls 12 x 35 lbs

Notes: Still can't do deadlifts. By the end of the set with the bar, my hammy hurt. It only starts to hurt after a number of reps, or when it gets heavier. 225 felt like air thank god. 275 went up super easy, but hammy almost gave out at the top, leg nearly collapsed. That was the end of that.

Trying underhand rows this cycle, see how far it takes me. Higher reps too. Hyperextensions were for the hammy, but didn't really affect it. Pumped the **** outta my lower back. Pull ups were very easy, gonna work up to 3x5, then add weight. Curls for the girls and I was done.

LOL, how many girls are in your gym, anyway?

PS: sorry about the hamstring. Injuries can be frustrating. Just work around it until it bounces back. Might be time to see a sports therapist since it's been lingering.

I was going to suggest seeing a sports therapist too. Or a physiotherapist. Lingering injuries are a pain in the butt!
