You know Mav that's true, since I started lifting 2 years ago my max bench went up about 150 lbs, squat up about 200 lbs, and deadlift up about 350 lbs. I can't let the bad days get me down when I see the big picture, you're right. Even if I have a few bad months in a row, it won't stop me for that long.

Merry Christmas Greg,

Your constant encouragement and words of praise have been very helpful and I'd like to thank you for the time and effort you've spent to do that. I've enjoyed watching your progress and I'm sure that one of these days your hammies will be as strong as ever.

You're a very mature 19-year old who has a great future and I look forward to observing your continued growth.

Pax Domini sit semper vobiscum.

Thanks pierini for the very kind words, and I want to send them right back at you. You've given so much excellent advice and are always around for encouragement and support. Some of the stretches you've recommended have definitely helped not just the hammy but to relax the whole body as well. Hope your Christmas is very merry and safe

HEAVY BENCH, Monday, December 26, 2005
Bench Press 10 x 45 lbs, 5 x 95 lbs, 3 x 135 lbs, 1 x 155 lbs, 1 x 185 lbs, 3x3 @ 205 lbs
Flat DB Press 6 x 75 lbs, 4 x 75 lbs
Tricep Pushdowns (on lat tower) 4 x 100 lbs, 5 x 90 lbs
Lateral Raises 10 x 30 lbs
Front Raises 10 x 30 lbs

Notes: Started 3x3 over for this cycle light. I'm surprised I hit my reps so easily, cuz I wasn't completely sober still. I'm not again tonight actually right now either. I attribute my success to the breakfast buffet I had before lifting. Pushdowns on the lat tower = hard. 150 lbs regular stack is like 70-80 lbs on the lat tower cable stack. Light raises to finish off cuz lack of sleep was big too.

You can change the number of reps if it's that important haha

Can you think of a better way to get the heart rate up? It's got to be safer than "gorilla cardio" - remember that one?

hey, don;t tempt me to try it....you are right, it is a great way to get the heart rate up and spare the joints in your knees! I guess it can be considered low impact, depending on how you look at it?

If it's low impact, you need to find another strip joint
