great to hear from ya! Hope the work schedule gets a little more managable. I can sympathiz though. This week I went into work Tuesday at 9 AM and didnt leave until Wednesday11:30 AM. Thast right, almost 27 consecutive hours. The joys of working for a small computer company.

Glad to hear that with all the insanity that you still found time to hit the gym. How are classes going?

I'm definitely gonna drop my hours at work this semester, no need to overwork myself when I don't really need the money. Classes are going to be tough as hell, with 2 Spanish courses (basically Spanish 7 and 8), an honors philosophy class, and 2 in my major justice studies, but one is a research class.

If that's you in your avatar man, lookin' awesome. I'm getting ready for work now, but I'll try and stop by your journal and see who else is still around, too.

Welcome back young man.

Believe it or not, I've thought about you a couple of times, wishing that you are doing well. Glad to hear that you are.

Hey Greg, glad you are still among the living. Best wishes to you for a more manageable schedule. Just think, soon enough school will be over, then work, marriage, kids... get to interfere with lifting. So with the work schedule interfering with lifting I imagine that the hammy has had enough time to heal now?

pierini... thank you for the best wishes, you guys definitely crossed my mind from time to time. I've been well as I hope you have been as well. I have a lot of catching up to do!

Andy... hammy had no pain on the squats I did, but we'll see over the next few weeks how it feels. I sent you a PM, didn't realize you had posted here. d'oh. I've just been glad to start lifting again, I don't care if my lifts are down, it just feels great to be back at it.

Made it back to the gym finally.

Flat BB Bench 10 x 135 lbs, 5 x 135 lbs, 3 x 155 lbs, 4 x 190 lbs, 3 x 190 lbs, 3 x 190 lbs
Hang Clean,Push Press 5 x 85 lbs, 5 x 95 lbs, 5 x 100 lbs, 4 x 105 lbs
Cable Pushdown 8 x 120 lbs, 8 x 130 lbs, 5 x 140 lbs
Side Raises 8 x 25 lbs

Notes: Weaker on bench thanks to a poor warm-up because I had to work in with other people because the gym was so crowded. I've been doing hang cleans/push presses instead of just military press to work the shoulders. It makes it a full body exercise. Finished off the triceps and shoulders and called it a night.

Sore throat is gone, head cold is going away, on day 3 now. This is my last weekend for my summer job, so when I come back I'll be healthy, have more time and less stress hopefully.

Forgot to post up, Thursday night after being sick and having 1.5 weeks off did 3x185, 3x190, 2x195 flat BB bench, hang clean/push press up to 5x110, skull crushers 3x8 @ 80 lbs, and finally face pulls working up to 10x150 lbs. I plan to squat and do some back work tomorrow.

Squats 10x45, 3x95, 3x135, 3x185, 3x225, 1x245, 1x265, 3x225
BORs 5x135, 5x145, 5x155, 5x165, 5x175
Upright Rows 5x45, 5x75, 5x95
Hammer Curls 10x35, 10x35
Reverse BB Curls 8x45, 8x55, 8x45

Notes: Squatting went pretty well today, lots of popping/noises from one knee but nothing painful. I think it's just not used to having weight on it like it used to be. BORs went well, 175s easier than I thought they'd be, but after 5 sets I was done. Upright rows suck, kinda painful, now I remember why I don't do them ever...finished off with forearm/bicep work.

Flat BB Bench 10x45, 6x95, 5x135, 3x155, 3x185, 3x185, 3x185, 4x185
Hang Clean, Push Press 5x45, 5x95, 5x105, 5x115
Skull Crushers 10x80, 10x80, 6x90
Face Pulls 10x150, 10x150

Notes: Got some lifting in between studying. I wanted to rest more but today seemed more ideal than later in the week. Hang cleans/push presses are getting easier, I'm starting to really like them. Skull crushers pretty easy, kept cramping. Face pulls easy, too.
