BACK/ABS, Tuesday, February 1, 2005
Deadlifts 6 x 45 lbs, 6 x 135 lbs, 6 x 225 lbs, 4 x 310 lbs, 4 x 320 lbs, 2 x 330 lbs, 2 x 340 lbs
Bent Over Rows 6 x 115 lbs, 6 x 135 lbs, 6 x 135 lbs, 6 x 135 lbs
Hanging Leg Raises BW+40 x 8, BW+40 x 8, BW+40 x 8
Side Bends 6 x 70 lbs, 6 x 80 lbs, 6 x 90 lbs
Notes: Woo hoo! Next week for deads I start at 315 BORs weren't too bad today. For hanging leg raises, it's getting pretty hard to hold the dumbbell between my feet. Any suggestions? Also for side bends...way too easy and DBs only go up to 100. It'd be hard to balance a barbell lol. Any suggestions here either?

You are only holding one weight for the side bends right? If you are not, do that. If you already only hold one Db at a time, try doing decline Russian Twists instead.

Yeah I just hold one DB at a time. Are Russian Twists where you sit up, but turn to the side so like right elbow hits left knee?

Hey gcs, nice deadlifting! Here is a link that looked like it best showed what a russian twist is. Sorry for jumping in but I thought I'd say howdy and take a gander. hehe ----> http://www.sissel-online.com/exercis...icine_ball.php

Hmm definitely not what I'd pictured. Just lay on the floor and hold a DB up or what? lol I'd feel so goofy...maybe I will try the sit-ups to the side with weight...

Thanks Klinger. That seems like forever ago...wow. I don't think I could have made it so far without all you guys supporting and pushing me, lol as lame as that may sound.

CHEST, Thursday, February 3, 2005
Bench Press 8 x 45 lbs, 8 x 95 lbs CG, 6 x 135 lbs, 4 x 175 lbs, 4 x 175 lbs, 2 x 185 lbs
Decline Press 8 x 135 lbs, 8 x 135 lbs
Incline Flyes 6 x 30 lbs, 6 x 40 lbs, 6 x 45 lbs, 4 x 50 lbs
Notes: Bench went pretty well. The 175 wasn't too bad, and I really am starting to think the 185 is mental. I threw some light decline sets in while I waited for a bench to open for flyes, which went alright.

Nice job on the bench dude. My first goal was to get 185 for 6. Then i got it for 3 sets of 6. Now it's an acclimation set lol. Keep pushing. You gonna get there sooner or later. SOon you going to be doing 185 for 8 on the first set

Not bad work on the weights there. Like hawk said, keep making progress on the bench with reps or weight or rest time or whatever. It's all good. What is your max again?

Thanks guys. Last time I tested my max I hit 195 lbs. which was a number of weeks ago.
EDIT:
Bench Press 10 x 45 lbs, 8 x 95 lbs (CG), 6 x 135 lbs, 1 x 175 lbs, 1 x 185 lbs, 1 x 195 lbs
That is from November 21, 2004. If I can't lift 200+ by now I'll cry lol. Also back then I weighed only around 165 lbs still, up to 180 lbs now.

Hell, maybe I should follow your lead and bulk. Seems like you busted a plateau when you increased your calories. Is that a fair assessment?
