Chin Ups BW x 6, BW+20 x 5, BW+20 x 5
DB Curls 5 x 30 lbs, 5 x 40 lbs
Abs Random
Notes: DLs whooped my butt. I was beat after them. I barely, barely made chin ups. Had nothing left for curls. Did some decline sit ups and hanging leg raises with just bodyweight for abs. I was glad to nail 315 on DLs off 35s.

Now, are you diong these deads off 35's stacked two high, or stacked one high?

Stacked 2 high, that's all I ever do besides regular deadlifts. So technically I could say Deadlifts off 4 35s lol.

You curl like my grandmother.
Just messing with you, Greg. Super-nice deadlifting. What you weigh these days with all that damn muscle?

lol. I nailed the 45s last week on DB curls, but chin ups dominated me so I made 1 rep each with the 50s, so I just quit.
Thanks about the DL comment. I think I'm up to 188 or so by now. But it might go down cuz I have 5 weeks of school and $23 on my meal plan haha.

Deadlifts were bombeta man. Really sick! Just be glad you have that system of meals. We have a set number of meals we can go to here at OU (the only college I know of on that system). It REALLY sucks, I friggin hate it. I wish we just had cash or cash credits and spend as much as we want to eat. If we went to the dining hall and just ate some salad, it would count as a whole meal, personally I have 20 (the highest), but some people have 10 meals for the whole week.
Next year I'm getting 10, and buying the rest at Wal Mart, as the markets on campus overcharge so high, it should be a crime.

Thats insane...10 meals in a week? 20? Geez, I'd be out of food in a little over 3 days on the 20 plan...

Ramen, though that stuff is horrible for you...I don't think there's anything cheaper than 8 cents per 300-400 calories lol

Healthy eating would have been simply impossible for me in college. I had no money and I'm pretty sure the cook at our fraternity put oil and butter on our cereal in the morning! OK, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but I'm familiar with the situation. Oatmeal is cheap to buy in bulk, so are veggies. Its the protein sources that are gonna drain your wallet. Good luck man.

LEGS, Thursday, April 14, 2005
Squats 6 x 45 lbs, 6 x 135 lbs, 4 x 155 lbs, 5 x 200 lbs (2 sec pause), 5 x 200 lbs (2 sec pause)
Seated Calf Raises 8 x 90 lbs, 8 x 115 lbs
SLDLs 6 x 135 lbs, 6 x 240 lbs, 6 x 240 lbs, 6 x 240 lbs
Notes: Went on about a mile run before lifting...kinda made me feel tired. Pounded squats out, pretty easy. Second set on squats I went as deep as physically possible. Needless to say it was much more difficult lol. There were 5 holes under the safety bars in the rack, and I went down until the bar was just slightly above the pins. Calf raises were a joke, didn't feel like working them. SLDLs knocked my pants off, they were so easy until reps 5 and 6, then I got owned, but I pulled it off. Overall a surprisingly good day.

SLDLs do tend to own us occasionally. All of that AFTER a run? Good work.

I've got a used wheelchair if you need it tomorrow. I thought I might need it today - my legs are still wiped out from yesterday - and I had the bright idea of cutting the grass today instead of messing with that truck again.

That pause in the hole is a killer. I pause for maybe a second and it feels like an eternity. Nice SLDLs. Are you doing them from the floor or from a riser? For a new challenge, stand on some plates like you do sometimes for regular DLs and see what that extra stretch in the hams does for you.
