Good work Greg! You are progressing very steadily lately eh? Instead of 215, hit 210 next week and you'll feel even more awesome without failing at 215 which, is not far off anyhow! :

How was it? I've always wanted to try that, but I'm afraid I'd forget the parachute...

There is nothing else like it. It was absolutely amazing! Jumping out of that plane is crazy. We went up 14,000 feet! It doesn't even feel like you're falling, but you drop FAST...120 mph. It feels like your floating and air is just rushing up on you. It was a damn good experience I'd recommend it to everybody. Even when you pull the parachute you still fall at 17 ft/sec. There is no way to describe free fall really though, it's just incredible.

BACK/BICEPS, Monday, May 2, 2005
Deadlifts Off 2 35s 8 x 135 lbs, 5 x 225 lbs, 3 x 275 lbs, 1 x 315 lbs, 5 x 325 lbs, 5 x 325 lbs
BORs 3 x 135 lbs, 6 x 155 lbs, 6 x 155 lbs
DB Curls 10 x 40 lbs, 9 x 40 lbs
Notes: DLs felt tough today but I knocked them out. Instead of 2x5 @ 150 I hit 2x6 @ 155 for BORs so that made me feel pretty great. DB curls finished off my forearms and biceps. I wanted to add in some lat pull downs or something but I was too tired and this routine has been working so far so good.

I think your back numbers right now are going to be my goal for the end of the summer, though I'm sure my legs are the problem spot in my deadlifts (that and my current lower back pain).

Eric...thanks! You'll be surprised how fast your numbers climb, don't worry
Mav...if you think your legs are the weak point of your DL, lower the weight and go off plates like I am. Definitely works the legs a LOT more. Makes regular ROM feel like nothing.

So did Andy and I convince you to give creatine a try? I have no clue if it will work for me yet since I'm still loading, but all the research I looked at indicates it's the only supplement besides protein that is worth a damn.
Plus, I hear it creates a longer-lasting pump. :

lol no I'm not convinced yet to try creatine. I'd love the faster gains and more muscular look, but I really don't want to get huge, so I'm going to take my time with natural/raw gains. Maybe sometime down the road when I hit a serious plateau I'll consider it, but otherwise I'll TRY to stay away

Decline Crunches 3 x 10 @ BW
Side Bends 10 x 55 lbs, 10 x 95 lbs
Hanging Leg Raises 10 x 40 lbs, 10 x 40 lbs
Crunch Machine 20 x 110 lbs, 20 x 130 lbs
Static Holds (Double Overhand) 15 sec x 275 lbs
Static Holds (Mixed Grip) 15 sec x 365 lbs, 15 sec x 365 lbs
Static Holds (Double Overhand Drop Set) 20 sec x 225 lbs
Notes: Decent ab day, but I felt like I worked the crap outta my forearms. The double overhand set was easy, but the mixed sets at 365 felt damn heavy. I'll probably stay at 365 til I can get 20 seconds before moving up. Also, should I warm up more before doing the static holds?
