BORs 5 x 115 lbs, 3 x 135 lbs, 8 x 160 lbs, 8 x 160 lbs
T-Bar (Wider Grip w/2 sec. hold at top) 8 x 100 lbs, 8 x 100 lbs
DB Curls 7 x 45 lbs, 7 x 40 lbs

Notes: PR on deadlifts. I swear the rep at 430 was my slowest rep ever. I'm pretty sure form was good, but my god, it went up so slow. That has to be or be VERY near my absolute max. I'm thinking next week for singles just stay at 405 and do multiple pulls. Thoughts on this idea?
Doing singles is my favorite way of training the deadlift. I say go for it.

LEGS, Thursday, May 26, 2005
Squats 5 x 45 lbs, 5 x 95 lbs, 3 x 135 lbs, 3 x 185 lbs, 1 x 225 lbs, 3x3 @ 245 lbs
SLDLs 6 x 135 lbs, 3 x 225 lbs, 6 x 270 lbs, 6 x 270 lbs

Notes: Short day, have too much to do like dentist and then mulching so I cut out calf raises and leg press. Last set on squats was the easiest, kinda frustrating, but I do enjoy easy sets when they come around. SLDLs are getting damn heavy!

As long as you get in those squats and SLDLs, that's all you need, bro. The presses and calf raise are just extra credit.

CHEST, Saturday, May 28, 2005
Bench Press (Pinky On Ring) 5 x 45 lbs, 5 x 95 lbs, 3 x 115 lbs, 1 x 135 lbs, 1 x 165 lbs, 6x3 @ 185 lbs
Decline Press 6 x 175 lbs
Upright Rows 5 x 45 lbs, 3 x 85 lbs, 10 x 95 lbs
Incline DB Press 3 x 65 lbs

Notes: BAD BAD BAD sunburn on my back. Very painful. I pushed thru flat bench because I wanted my sets this week very bad. Sunburn was too painful to continue on decline and especially incline DB press. I'm gone all weekend now to a Rascal Flatts concert in Pittsburgh

Great job, especially considering the burn! You can only do what you can with one of those nasty ones. Have fun at the concert man, and use sunscreen.

185 for 6 sets of 3 pinkies on the rings is a PR for you i believe. Nice job! You could only get 185 for 4 at most with wide grip before right? You just went to 18 reps from 4 reps man, and a tougher grip. NICE JOB! I see 225 in your future real soon.

Hey very nice work.

Now go out and get some aloe and preparation H and put it all over that sunburn. It will heal it up very quickly. Makes it quit hurting pretty quick too. Warning, the H hurts like hell for a minute or so when you first put it on, but then it is sooo soothing on the sunburn.

Shrinks, reduces, relieves pain in swollen painful tissue. Also an excellent wrinkle cream - just stinks too much to wear it on the face too much. But in the short term for treatment of a first degree burn, it is great.

Many years ago my wife was in an accident that left her with terrible scarring on her face. She wen't and had one of the old fashioned chemical peels to burn off the damaged skin and the scar tissue - the kind that was so strong that they don't do them anymore. When it was done, the plastic surgeon gave her a tube of "H" and said it was the best burn cream in the world.

We've used it for minor burns around here ever since.

Dave...you're right about the PR. I'm pumped to finally rep 185 with "relative ease" lol.

Andy...We had this blue gel stuff with aloe vera and lidocaine in it, seemed to work really well. Other than that I've just used regular moisturizers, but Prep H...I'll have to remember that one.

Back from the concert. AWESOME time. It's unfortunate I don't remember more of the concert though lol. (When 151 kicks it in full gear things start to phase out of my memory. And vodka before that...and beer after that...). But overall a damn good time, ate some good breakfast at Cracker Barrel on the way home I think I'm losing body fat cuz my abs are coming in more. I must eat more!!

we used prep H on the horse when it was hit by a car and had road rash all down one flank. cleared it up like ninety in no time at all.

(but i guess you don't wanna use the same technique we did: we applied the prep H to pantyliners and strapped them to the rash with gauze and elastoplast bandages....)
