Hanging Leg Raises 12, 12, 6 x 35 lbs, 12 x 50 lbs, 12 x 50 lbs
Suitcase Deadlifts 4 x 95 lbs, 4 x 115 lbs, 4 x 135 lbs
BB Wrist Curl SS w/Reverse Wrist Curl 10 x 115 lbs, 10 x 115 lbs
Forearm Rope 20 lbs, 25 lbs

Notes: Quick day, in and out. I was gonna do some decline sit ups to warm up, but to my (pleasant) surprise, there were girls using all 3 of them. Suitcase deadlifts much easier this week, getting the hang of stabalizing them. I know I can do more weight, but I need to get form 100% first. I haven't really felt like doing static holds lately, so I did wrist curls...never really done them before. Pretty easy but I'm still not too fond of them. Forearm rope is up and down...burns like a mofo!

here's something you can add some excitment to "wrist curls" take eithier a 25lb plate, or stack 2-10's (probalily 2-10's) grab the plate by keeping the palm of your hand open against the smooth side and grasp your thumb in the lip of the plate and try to curl the plate, you eithier do plate curls or wrist curls on your knee, both hit the wrists, and the fingers.

I doubt you will be able to curl a 25lb plate, maybe 1-rep, this will strengthen the hell out of your wrists and fingers, it may be good for arm-wrestleling also.

Why'd you drop the static holds? I always thought you did a lot more grip work than most others posting journals on here and wanted to see what rewards you'd reap.

Just like what it sounds like really, barbell is on my side, I use one hand to pick it up, just like lifting a suitcase.

Luke...I'll have to try that if I remember. I wouldn't mind learning more of your strongman grip stuff.

Mav...I might add static holds back in, just wasn't feeling a lot of work today.

Do you pick up two barbells, one on each side of you? Or just one ?

seraph...just following a workout recommended from Firehawk and the DBB crew and my own really. It's definitely more of a powerlifting routine, and eventually will become even more so. Thanks for the props though, much appreciated

Dave...just one barbell. When I say like 4x135, that is 4 on the left, then 4 on the right. I should've clarified.

Yeah he's making really great progress. His totals are higher than mine right now and he's giving away 100 lbs, what BS!

lol Dave when you begin to seriously bulk for long term, I have no reason to doubt that your numbers will crush mine.

I'll have to agree with you there but right now, you own lol

At least my bench is higher lol.

I did rack pulls from the first hole in the rack the other day. Could only pull 435, tried 455 and couldn't even move it. I think i found my weak point. 435 was heavy as hell too.

This saturday is heavy deads again. I will probably pull, as I missed 425 last time and am very upset about it. I might go 415 just to get another PR and then try 425 once again after 5-6 mins.

Yeah I'm gonna have trouble beating that bench of yours anytime soon. I'll focus on squatting and deadlifting

I thought you had pulled 415 before? No?

No I pulled 410, that was a 5 lb PR. Then i tried 430, and missed. The next session, i tried 425 and got it passed my knees but couldn't lock it.

I'm expecting to be able to bench 315 by September if I keep eating like this...it's not too far off.
