No goals!!! You should be ashamed of yourself
How 'bout 10 plates + deadlift + end of the year = goal? That would be wicked if you were hitting 495, and back certainly is your strongpoint. Now that would be a ball-busting goal, it would put you at just over 10 pounds a month from today.

I dunno about 495 by December...lol I'd love to but I'm not so sure I can make that cut. By the end of summer I want to be squatting 315, SLDL 315 and be able to bench 225. I think those are all pretty reasonable. Most definitely working towards my first 500 lb pull on deadlifts, but it'll take me some time. In the meantime, I intend to keep getting stronger, and stronger, and stronger...

You can bench 225 now, you just need me to be then handler because I'll be screaming at you lol. You just don't believe you can yet, but that's ok. I'd rather you keep going like you are and bench 225 for 3 rather than max at 225 for 1.

I'd bet I could come real close if not get 225. I remember last time I maxed, 205 went up easy, and I got stuck with 215 3-4 inches off my chest, and it was lighter than it should have been. I'm ready for 225 when it comes, but I want to be able to rep it with relative ease

Well I'm not sure about full meals because most of the time was during college, so I was constantly eating around the clock. I ate and ate and ate. I would always eat at least double my friends at every meal. Then my meal plan ran out so I ate as much as I could on what little money I added lol. I've never cared much for counting calories or meals, I just eat when I am hungry or know I should.

ABS/GRIP, Wednesday, June 15, 2005
Decline Sit Ups BW x 10, BW x 10, BW x 10
Suitcase Deadlifts 6 x 45 lbs, 6 x 95 lbs, 6 x 115 lbs, 6 x 135 lbs
Decline Sit Ups BW+60 x 5, BW+75 x 5, BW+85 x 5
Static Holds (Double Overhand) 15 sec. x 295 lbs
Static Holds (Mixed Grip) 15 sec. x 385 lbs, 15 sec. x 385 lbs
DB Finger Holds 20 sec. x 15 lbs (all), 20 sec. x 10 lbs (all)
Notes: Suitcase deadlifts whooped the shiznit out of me! I wanted to puke and quit after the 135s. I felt horrible. I didn't catch my breath until after some weighted sit ups lol. Static holds weren't bad today, probably could have pushed to 20 seconds on all of them, but I haven't done them in 3 weeks. I'm trying something new...DB finger holds. I use each finger to hold the dumbbell for the allotted time. So 20 sec. x 15 lbs means each finger held a 15 lb DB for 20 seconds.

See you can do this when you're thin and have trouble putting weight on. You can't do this when you're a big boy already . If i ate like that I'd gain over 100 lbs easily in a year. YIKES!

lol I have to admit, I'm very pleased with my body. It's so damn easy to maintain a certain weight. I have to eat like MAD to gain weight, and I've never really tried losing a lot of weight...but staying at the same weight is easy I love being able to eat whatever I want...don't you Dave?

I had no idea you were weighing in that heavy now. Damn.
Eating big WILL increase your lifts. You remember I was stuck on everything back when I was 165 or so. Now that I'm pushing 180 all of my lifts are taking off. The body needs lots of fuel for this hobby.
Working those fingers, huh? Talk about isolation exercises.

nice workout, I know the feeling about wanting to puke, hopefully you felt real good afterwards.
those finger holds are good, you should feel those running all the way up your forearms through the tendons.

Didn't really feel them as much as I was hoping I would. I was holding the dumbbell at my side as if I was holding dumbbells for static holds or shrugs, but used each finger to hold it instead of my whole hand. Is that right or am I missing something?
