That's a crapload of weight for SLDL! It would feel like the world to me, too. Your hamstrings will thank you profusely in a couple days. Nice job!

I take a few days off and you are doing my standard deadlift weight for SLDLs! Never again, this is the last break I ever take! But, as long as I'm still on my break til Monday, I might as well hit the Chinese buffet today

Awesome workout. Your lower back and glute muscles must be like chiseled stone. Enjoy your youth!

CHEST, Saturday, July 9, 2005
Bench Press (Pinky On Rings) 10 x 45 lbs, 5 x 95 lbs, 3 x 135 lbs, 1 x 185 lbs, 3 singles @ 220 lbs, miss @ 225 lbs (barely off chest), miss @ 225 lbs (about 6 inches up)
DB Flat Press 6 x 70 lbs, 6 x 70 lbs, 6 x 70 lbs
Lateral Raises/Face Pulls Superset 12 x 25 lbs/15 x 90 lbs/6 x 25 lbs/15 x 90 lbs/3 x 25 lbs
Notes: 220...but no 225 today I knew I could hit all 6 of my 220s, so I pushed to 225 and no luck. Nailed my DB presses. Really pinched for time so I did one big superset for lateral raises and face pulls. Painful. No time for push downs or plate raises. One more workout until my week long break. Phew.

I'm gonna miss the weights...but I hope I have one heck of a full body recovery so I come back extra strong. Eating heartily while taking time off will be no problem I'm definitely happy with my 220 lb PR on the bench, 225 would have been nice, today just wasn't the day for it though.

you'll get that first chest back after your break - i wouldn't be surprised if you actually hit 230.

Thisclose to two wheels, man. Nice. You will love your wek off. My recovery week did wonders for my psyche when I came back to the weights.

I wouldnt be surprised if he could hit 230 or more. He didn't max at 220. He did it for 3 singles. That's not really a max. If he had to go all out to get 220 it's likely he woudlnt' have been able to do it again let alone 3 times. He's got 225 in him easy right now.
