So far so good with the surgery. My bottom right socket is swollen, otherwise all my other incisions are absolutely unnoticable. I haven't had to take a single pain killer pill and I'm going in to work tonight. I was even just fine the day of the surgery. I hope the rest of my recovery goes this smoothly!
Edit: Still getting my protein. Eggs, milk, cottage cheese, and yogurt so far today

do you know how many ppl i've pissed off?
all i do is casually mention how i flushed a 3-week supply of heavy-duty percoset (sp?) down the toilet once i realized i was getting addicted.

lol three the least you coulda done was sold 'em. I honestly don't think my percosets would do me any good. The valium before the surgery didn't affect me. It took 6 instead of the usual 2-3 doses to put me out for the surgery. And the percoset I took after surgery didn't affect me at all either. Kinda sucks lol but I'm glad I don't need them anyway!

People think they're entitled to them if you're not going to use them The last time Don got prescribed Percoset he didn't fill the prescription because that seems to be the docs answer to everything give him painkillers. So many people were pissed!
At least you didn't have a lot of pain with getting your teeth out! It's weird how much it changes person to person!

I can't wait for the mouth to heal up. Hammy seems to be doing better, so once hammy and mouth are healed, it's back to eating and lifting. Can't wait!

Wow I just looked thru my journal from last August when I started school. I remember wanting to use 135 as a working set on bench then. This time around I'm hoping to be using 225 pretty soon. Bench is up about 60-70 lbs since last August. Deadlifts up nearly 200 lbs. Squats are another story because of my form reset lol.
This makes the upcoming year even more to look forward to in terms of gains. Thanks syke for making me take the time to look back and reminisce I will only get a week's worth of lifting in at my gym here at home before I move back in to school. Then I get the stupid 12-sided odd-shaped plates. Ugh.

It's been nearly a week and eating is just about back to normal. Still can't bite into sandwiches and stuff like that, but I can eat most anything again
