Eric...man you know I can't let that happen. Your bench has come pretty far already and I haven't forgotten your goal (5x185) which I'm certain you can do.
Andrew...I'm definitely on an upswing right now after a few crappy months in a row. If only it continues I'll be a very happy man

BACK, Monday, November 7, 2005
BORs 10 x 45 lbs, 6 x 95 lbs, 4 x 115 lbs, 3 x 135 lbs, 3 x 155 lbs, 6 x 190 lbs, 6 x 190 lbs, 6 x 190 lbs
Chin Ups BW+15 x 6, BW+15 x 6, BW+15 x 6
Seated Cable Rows 6 x 130 lbs, 6 x 130 lbs, 6 x 130 lbs
BB Shrugs 20 x 195 lbs
BB Curls 5 x 95 lbs, 12 x 65 lbs
Notes: BORs still progressing. From what I can tell my form is pretty decent. Chins getting tough already. I at least wanna get to +25 on chins! Have I mentioned how I hate 20 rep shrugs? Or anything with high reps? lol. First time ever curling 95 lbs as well

You can probably forget him slowing down. I tried to catch him once - actually got 200x1. Now I'm a little more than 50lb behind.

Congrats on the progress on the BORs as well as the curling. I was wondering where my curling strength went - You took it.

haha Andy I been telling you a long time I'd trade you some of my DL strength for some of those biceps Now since I haven't deadlifted in weeks, I'm sure I've lost at least 50 lbs. Now's your chance to snatch it!

Those 20 rep shrugs i bet you feel more than u ever did doing sets of 6.
They work man. It's a suggestion from Big Clay tod o higher reps on them with lighter weight.
I usually do 1 set of 30, at least that's hwat i been doing the last month. After one set of 30 for as heavy as i can get (300lbs), my traps are fried.

SPEED BENCH, Wednesday, November 9, 2005
Speed Bench 10 x 45 lbs, 5 x 95 lbs, 3 x 115 lbs, 9 sets of 3 @ 135 lbs
Seated DB Press 10 x 55 lbs, 10 x 55 lbs, 5 x 60 lbs
Front Raises 6 x 40 lbs, 6 x 40 lbs
Lateral Raises 8 x 35 lbs
Notes: Not feelin' it today. This is my 4th week at 135s for speed bench. I think I'm gonna drop the weight next week and go lightning fast. I'm slower off the chest. My lockouts are so strong I actually came off the bench a few times. Pleased with DB MP presses, finished with some raises. I'm exhausted. Been a bad day all around otherwise.

LEGS, Thursday, November 10, 2005
Squats 10 x 45 lbs, 7 x 135 lbs, 3 x 185 lbs, 3 x 225 lbs, 1 x 275 lbs, 1 x 325 lbs
Seated Calf Raises 4 sets of 8
Notes: 325 was tough today, had a decent sticking point in the middle but I got it. I felt like I was leaning too far forward but my spotter told me it looked good to him. Regardless, I think I'll take a week off from squatting to give my hammy a break. It's been my experience that my squat has improved a lot when I just take time off. I've been doing heavy singles since mid-late September.

How are the legs growing on those heavy singles? Getting bigger or just a whole lot stronger?

Just trying to get my strength up, I've never taken measurements of any body parts so I can't really say if they've grown over the past couple months doing singles. I hope not cuz my jeans are already getting too snug lol.

Hey, if they are getting snug that just might be a good thing. As long as it's muscle gain.

Great job Greg - I know the bench has frustrated you sometimes, but now it looks like you've made it your b****. :
