gymgirl - It felt so good to change up my work-out and do some weights. I of course always get my cardio in, but the weights felt good.
7:30 am
10,000 precor strides, level 7 resistence, incline 1-17 variance
5:00 pm - " Barbara"
Five rounds, each for time of:
20 assisted Pull-ups
30 girl Push-ups
40 Sit-ups (on decline bench)
50 Squats
Rested 3 minutes between each round.
Total time = 44:56 (5:40, 6:09, 6:37, 6:59, 7:28)
The sit-ups felt hard and took up most of the time! My abs need a ton of work.
I was able to get 2 work-outs in today... wahoo!
I typically weigh-in for weight watchers on Friday, but didn't get to because I needed to stay home with my doggie. I will do my weekly weigh-in tomorrow morning and log my results.

12/2 11:30 am - 6 mile brisk walk with my neighbor up hills.
Weighed in @ WW this morning - Down 1.6 lbs this week (18.6 total)
I worked out everyday this week, ate really good. I was hoping for more weight loss than showed up on the scale... oh well.... we'll see next week.

no-frills you are doing great. 1.6lbs in a week is a great amount - you are better off losing slowly as pieirin says.
just think 1.6 in a week is 16 in ten weeks. I don't know how many u are planning to lose, but you now you will have the rest of your life to live as a healthy person! even if it takes a whole year, so what! If you werent doing this you would still be a year older next year, and now you will be a year older, but look absolutely fabulous!
decline bench situps are the hardest kind. Even without a plate to my chest i cannot do more than 15 in one go. Good job on barbara!

Thanks pierini and minime---- you are right AND PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE keep reminding me of this along the way..... I know that losing it slow is the right way to go... In fact today I was packing for a business trip to Oregon for 2-3 days and tried on a couple of pants that I couldn't fit into 1 months ago fit me now... WOW... what a great feeling. I need to keep telling myself 1 day / 1 week and 1 lb at a time.

I actually scheduled my flight to Oregon later in the day so I could get my morning work out in. I am hoping to get in some cardio at the Hotel gym. Historically when I travel we are in meetings for 12 hours then they require everyone to go to dinner together so I haven't been able to get in exercise. I am going to do my best to make good choices for eating over the next 3 days and will have to allow most of my points at night for business dinners. Wish me luck!!!......... at least I have the ability to log my points online on my computer.

Are you going to Oregon for business or pleasure?

12/5 - 4 miles on hotel TM (5.7 warm-up; 5.8; 5.9; 6.0)
It was hard to go 4 miles in an 8x8 room, that was about 100 degrees with 5 sweaty bodies..... but the good news is I got in a work-out.
12/6 - no work-out rest and travel day
Over all pretty good food choices but hard to eat the way I wanted when they brought in pizza 1 day and Asian the 2nd(I tried to stick to the protein / veggies). We also went to the boss's house for dinner (Ham, mashed potatoes, rolls, pie, wine) so reduced portions.

way to go on getting that 4 miles in while traveling on business. that is exceptional!
it is tough to eat well while traveling, especially when food is brought in and you don't get much choice...let alone eating at the bosses house! you are doing fantastic and should be very proud!
