Pierini - thanks so much for stopping by and for the kudos. I am feeling really good, look forward to exercise everyday and can definitely see the value of setting AND tracking goals. The real test is coming ... like you, my work gets extra crazy Jan - March ... I will be working out as many early mornings as I can and also at hotels when I travel.

way to go on that 4lbs no-frills! yeah! you are doing so great!
Maybe you could take a twenty minute walk somtime during the day? that may eliminate the need for you to cut the two points from your diet? I'm not sure how it works exactly.. anyway just think that when you have lost the weight you will be able to increase your calories to maintenance... woohoo!

minime... glad you are back and thanks for the encouragement. I am truly going to have to work harder on improving my eating further. I still have work to do and room for healthier choices.... but its a journey.

hot damn no-frills you are on fi-aaahhh! (that should be read fire, but with some 'tude ) seriously, you are pumpin' out some great workouts! look at you getting your ab exercises in there! :
great job on the continued weight loss and also bumping up that speed on the treadmill. it really makes a difference! how's the tendon thing on the back of your leg? was it a one time tweak that went away after a day of rest or is it still giving your problems?

gymgirl....I read your post out loud with lots of attitude to JDR3. We both cracked up. JDR3 has really missed reading conversations / banter between you and minime.... so much that he has resorted to holding conversations with me... ha ha ha.... you know men ..."talking is extra".
Thanks for asking about my leg. I backed off for 1 day by doing a different exercise and it went away which made me really happy. I need my cardio to keep the weight loss going. It feels good to mix in the TM a few days a week and I am noticing my runs are feeling easier ... so I started bumping up the speed just a bit ... enough to trick myself.
I still don't like ab work but I am gradually add more of it in. I think the more I do the easier it will get and hopefully someday I will actually like it... Nah...but I will do it.

LOL glad we can entertain people. i always just assumed only minime reads the non-workout rambling parts. lol and hahaha about the 'talking is extra' you had me rolling with that one, so funny yet sadly so true sometimes.
glad to hear your leg is better, injuries are always a bummer. it probably is really good for you to mix your cardio up with TM and eliptical, and that is fantastic that the runs are getting easier! you have been doing EXCELLENT!

Minime / Gymgirl... thanks for the "props". I have a bunch more weight to take off, so I will need to rely on you girls to help keep me going. I am feeling good but don't want to get too comfortable... no backsliding allowed.
An update on my 1.5 year old yellow lab who had knee surgery 6 weeks ago. I used to take her out almost every day for 3-5 mile walks then she ran after a bird and has been out of commission for 6 weeks. Today we finally were able to start back on a small walk. I will need to gradually work her back up to where she was... another good excuse to get in exercise. She is so worth it!

- Weights 2-3 days p/week = 2 days total = Met Goal
- Weight within WW range 145-155 = Not Met
- BMI within WW range 20/25 = Not Met
Upcoming week should be quite a challenge. I am traveling Mon-Wed and will have to make sure I get in cardio all 3 days at the hotel. I have a funeral Thursday but will get up early to do precor and weights because I don't think mentally I will feel like doing it in the evening. Then I am off to Lake Tahoe with girl friends Friday - Sunday---- so I will have to get my cardio and weights in 1st thing in the morning on Friday... hope to get in Cardio on Saturday & Sunday .... but no guarantees.

I had to catch an early morning plane and wasn't able to fit in the usual goal of 10,000 strides p/day..... but at least I was able to get in some.
