That workout looked like a tough one. I see you're meeting goals. Good.:

1/16/07 6:00 @ the Hotel Gym

35 minutes on elliptical machine = 1.8 miles
35 minutes on the TM (5.6, 5.8, 6.0, 6.2) = 3.2 miles
Total of 5 miles

sorry about your loss no-frills. i don't think i'd be able to workout after going to a funeral either.

way to go on getting in some cardio before your flight, and again today at your hotel! enjoy the weekend away with your girlfriends...poor JDR you are leaving him all alone with the boys for the week!

1/21 --- I haven't logged formal work-outs since 1/16 of this week. I was ok at the beginning of the week and was able to get in 2 of 3 days while traveling but the rest of the week went down-hill with no regrets!

I spent 3 days in Lake Tahoe with girlfriends... I focused mostly on exercising my right arm by drinking plenty of alcohol and playing blackjack. Other areas of focus included my cheeks and stomach muscles from laughing non stop. Finally, my thighs, glutes and feet where put to the test dancing.

No WW Weigh-in this week; however I will be back on that unforgiving scale this week to "pay the piper" for all the splurging that went on this week.

Annual Goals Update - Week #3 2007
- Intentional exercise 6 days/week = 2 days total = Failed miserably
- Weights 2-3 days p/week = 0 days total = Failed miserably
- Weight within WW range 145-155 = Not Met
- BMI within WW range 20/25 = Not Met

Well... with that said.... I am back on my game tomorrow with vigorous excercise and counting my points.

sounds like you had a great time no-frills! Don't worry about the calories/no exercise: we all have to let loose sometimes, we cannot be good always. Anyway, what fun would life be if we couldnt kick back and relax now and again....

now get on that precor, stat! lol

My mantra "you are only as good as your last workout. You are what you just ate" applies to middle-age women as well as middle-age men.

Get back on the saddle and put the petal to the medal!

i agree don't sweat it! you've got to let loose and reward yourself every once in awhile! The good part is you sound like you are ready to get back at it!

p.s. glad you had a fun trip!

Way to get back at it no-frills!

You know, if you put "vacation" in your plans and then you follow it then you have stuck to your goals! It sounds like playing with words but really it's not. We all need planned time off.

1/26/07 5:00 pm @ the gym
Warm-up x2
- 10 forward/backward arm circles
- 10 squats
- 20 back extensions
- 10 assisted pull ups
- 10 assisted dips

Workout 2 sets of:
- 10 roman chair straight leg raises
- 5 Bosu Ball planks
- 15 Leg Press @ 110lb
- 15 Leg Ext @ 90lb
- 15 Leg Curl @ 100lb
- 15 chest Press @ 90lb
- 15 shoulder press @ 60lb
- 15 seated row hands over @ 90lb
- 15 seated row hands under @ 90lb
- 15 Bicep Curl @ 60lb
- 15 Tricep Extension @ 70lb
- 15 Pullover @ 80lb

- 15 Rotary Torso @ 50lb
- 50 abductor - outer thigh - 100 lbs
- 50 abductor - inner thigh - 90 lbs

WW Weigh-in =No Loss / No Gain = 27 total
- on my own = 7.0 lbs
- WW week 1 = 5.0 lbs
- WW week 2 = 1.4 lbs
- WW week 3 = 4.6 lbs
- WW week 4 = .2 lbs
- WW week 5 = 2.4 lbs
- WW week 6 = 1.6 lbs
- WW week 7 = 0 lbs
- WW week 8 = 4 lbs
- WW week 9 = 1 lb
- WW week 10 = no weigh in, trip with girlfriends to Lake Tahoe
- WW week 11 = 0 lb loss

I am ok with staying flat for 2 weeks given all the extra cocktails and fun. Since I didn't weigh in last week, I am sure it took me all week to work off any extra weight gained to log a 0 lb gain / loss. Back on track feels good.
