Girls... you are the reason I am back. I really appreciate the perspective. I tend to be "all or nothing" or at least have been that way in the past. The reason I started discuss fit is to hold myself accountable and to be active as many days as possible. I will keep working on the "life is a journey" thing... I am sure this won't be the last time I need reminding.

On a lighter note..... Another 2 mile jog with my dog, Riley. Even she is ready for me to kick it up a notch. She's a 1 year old yellow lab and is used to more activity and Frisbee. I am able to track my mileage because I use a GARMIN (it's a GPS tracker) when I walk or run outside. It's an amazing gadget. Gives mileage, pace, and all kinds of other settings. JDR3 swears by it and has even set it to have a virtual partner when he ran his 800m runs to challenge himself. Very cool.... I don't leave home outside without it!

that GPS tracking device sounds great - when i finally get back to running I intend to invest in one. I do have a heart rate monitor - i put a strap around my chest and then wear a watch. Is the GPS like that, or is it just the watch that is required?

Its great that you have Riley to keep you active during this busy time - i love the yellow labs they are beautiful.

Minime -Riley is 1 year old and has a lot of energy to burn (much more than me) so she helps to keep me active.

The Garmin comes in different models (100,200 & 300) with or without heart-rate monitors and the 300 series even has software to download workouts if you are the hi-tech type.

for getting back into the CF workouts!

i really like your sub for the L-pull-ups, good thinking!

p.s. DF is definintely very helpful in keeping yourself accountable. i've learned that keeping a workout journal coupled with my fitday log has really helped keep me focused.

anyway great to have you back! enjoy your evening!

3 mile walk with my dog
CFWU x 2 - pushups, pullups, dips

"Cindy"

Complete as many rounds in 20 minutes as you can of:
5 Pull-ups
10 Push-ups
15 Squats
Total =14 rounds

I forgot to bring my workout gloves, so I struggled with pull-ups by the end of my workout.

14 rounds is great! Are you doing assisted pullups still, or bw?

Tim - I am still doing assisted pull-ups but trying to adjust the assist to make it a little harder for me each time. Don't know if I will ever be able to do pull-ups on my own.

Gymgirl.... this was my 2nd time doing "cindy" which was also 14. I hope the next time around I can do 1 or 2 more (with gloves) .....It will be a long time before I can dominate like you with 26 (if ever).
