personal trainers

i am writing a paper over personal training and i am asking for someone to take the time who is one to maybe answer a few of my questions.
i would like to know what the hours for the job are like and, some of the job conditions.
i personally want to be a personal trainer but i do not want to be huge. i like to focus on being a little more lean. what kinds of certifications are out there?
what could i be doing in five or ten years from now with the certification?

thanks a lot.

I love being a trainer, but there are some downsides.

1. huge pressure to look a certain way all the time.
2. tough getting clients.

The great things about it are the hours, you make your own. When your client base is big, the money is nice.

NASM, NSCA, ACE, ACSM are all good certifications.
