Looks like you've really stayed on top of things even with that insane amount of work. I need to find it in me to force myself to go running or at least do more cardio than once a week lol. Keep up the great work.

10:00 a.m. - 37 block walk in the neighborhood. Looking for a new barber. Found one, got a haircut. He did a good job so I'll be going back to him.
6:15 p.m. Dojo workout - Pierini is back! Feels good.
Another day off from work - starting to feel rested and better. May take another day off tomorrow. Or, may go to work. We'll see how I feel in the morning.

Arrived at the gym at 12:00 noon
1) Military sit-ups - 1 x 50
2) Standard grip pull-ups - 1 x 15
3) Military sit-ups - 1 x 50
4) Standard grip chin-ups - 1 x 15
5) Cherry pickers - 1 x 50
6) Close grip pull-ups - 1 x 8
7) Cherry pickers - 1 x 50
8 ) Close grip chin-ups - 1 x 12
Totals: 100 military sit-ups - 100 cherry pickers - 50 pull-ups/chin-ups
Later on in the neighborhood around 7:00 p.m. - 12 block walk to the library. Quick visit the the library I used to go to after school when I was 10 years old. Walked past 2 homes I used to live in. Then a 12 block walk back home. Total walk of 24 blocks. Beautiful evening.
A little sore from Tuesday's dojo workout which included an "exchange of courtesies" with a fellow student with the longest arms imaginable. Chest is a little sore today.

Yep, perinni is BACK. Go get it dude - tax season is over - enjoy it and get those workouts. I don't have any idea how far a block is - but it sounds like you are walking a pretty good distance.

9:15 a.m.
At home, standard push-ups on knuckles - 1 x 55 = 55 reps
Interrupted and had to cancel the rest of my workout
1:30 p.m.
Starting from my home, 42 block walk with wife in midtown Sacramento. Later on drove the course - 42 blocks = 3.2 miles. Did a little bonehead algebra and determined that 13 city blocks = 1 mile for future reference.
5:15 p.m.
At McKinley Park, ran the park perimeter - 1 lap is 0.7 miles. Ran 7 laps or 4.9 miles in 50:37 - again, a very slow run. It was very windy and pollen was flying all over the place, in my eyes, in my nostrils and in my mouth. Glad I don't suffer from allergies or I'd be a mess. Did another 1 lap walk cool-down.
Well, I'm back to same-day posting. Things are getting back to normal. Took the day off from work today. Enjoying myself, letting the work sit. It's not going anywhere. It will be there when I get back to work.

9:00 a.m. - 39 block walk from midtown to downtown Sacramento and back. Part of the path was a perimeter loop around the State Capitol. Did a Governor Arnold watch but he was nowhere to be found. Trying to find where his cigar tent is but couldn't find it. 39 blocks = 3 miles.
That's it for today and Sunday. I'm off with a cousin to see some out-of-town relatives that I haven't seen for along time. Trying to make a better effort in this department.
Check in with everyone on Monday. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Got a good night's sleep - 8.5+ hours, sleeping until 6:45 a.m. Unheard of just a couple of weeks ago. Caught up from the prior night when I didn't go to bed until 4:00 a.m. in the morning for a 22 hour day. Out of town visiting cousins I had not seen in years. Stayed up and talked. Need to make these visits more often. There is no excuse not to.
Gotta get back to early morning workouts. I get more done. I'm a morning person.

Superset of 25 standard push-ups on knuckles, immediately followed by 25 Great Gama squats, and finally 25 military sit-ups. Completed 4 supersets in 15 minutes.
Treadmill run of 3 miles in 24:30. Ran on a new treadmill at 0.5% grade. Then a walk cool-down for a total treadmill time of 30 minutes for 3.4 miles.
On the floor to stretch my hams/quads/glutes/etc.
7:00 p.m. at home
Walk to the neighborhood library, read for 15 minutes, then walk back. Total of 23 blocks or 1.8 miles.

My wife and I each bought clunker bicyles from the handyman at the neighborhood church. Perfect for rides around midtown Sacramento, just like most other midtown residents. $30 for hers and $40 for mine. The type of bikes that nobody would want to steal. The locks will probably cost more than the bikes. Should be fun. I feel like a "rich man" with my new clunker bicycle.

Tomorrow is a new month and a new thread for me. April 2005 was the lightest workout month since I have been logging. It was a pleasant change of pace but it's time to resume the pedal to the metal approach that I followed from December through February. I'm not satisified with the running volume - I believe I am getting lazy - that's how it always starts. So I'm going to look at myself in the mirror tonight before I go to bed and scold myself and say "that's it - you are getting lazy - this is not acceptable - tomorrow will be different - get off your lazy a** and train hard like you did a couple of months ago - etc. etc."
It's also been 10 weeks since I have logged my food consumption after having had logged for 10 months. I think it's time to resume that too.
My summer fun-run season is only 2 months until my first race and if I don't get with it then I won't be ready.
Stay tuned and watch my logs and get after me if you notice a lazy trend emerging. Thanks in advance for your support.
